3 C is another planet+moon...

I'm still wondering about Synuefe ZL-J d10-119... 7 D and 7 E are probably the best candidates (they are binaries... but only thing can comes close to planet + moon :/ )

I'm there too on PC, nice to see a non-CTRL V site :)
edit: still getting the delayed message bug though when scanning :/

Can someone please post screenshot for "surface map" and your position on ruins there? Really curious if they are somewhere near this canyon network at C3.

Only two days ago we were saying it would take years to brute force these, and now they're turning up every day lol :)

Well done to cmdr khenistry :)

You're right, and the new discovery of 30 by 60 isn't close enough, either.

I should have been exactly right. How dare I be out by 1-3 latitude/longitude.

Sorry, I'm just not exact enough, even with margin of error.

Based on the latest find, I don't think the power of 2 theory holds up.
It seems to me that variations on 30,30 are yielding results, not 32,32.

Small thing but the 30 latitude at least would represent 1/3 of a right-angle which still fits with the apparent obsession with 3.
Longitude is harder to justify because the prime meridian of a planet is arbitrary unless it's tidally locked. I could only put that down to the human element at FD.

I will bet that the other ruins will be found at planetary bodies with a moon. At approx. 30 or -30 latitude intersecting the moon path so it rises and falls at cca 45° angle. Great job Commander! I was searching -30 latitude of the same body.

All ruins are situated at planets with moon and has lat or long around 30 (plus or minus). That's where we should find other

New messages received! Just got Tech 1/20 from a scan :) :)
Edit: the obelisk has now lit up after a minute, seems like a successful scan does something here
Edit 2: I'm in Möbius, so it's probably only another CMDR joining the instance

I get that you're being sarcastic, but you're actually right. If this was actually a technique FD wanted us to use it'd be pretty exact. It probably wouldn't in the real world, but in a game when you find the answer to a puzzle it's almost always obvious. If you were right I'd expect your results to be within one degree of the actual location. If you had calculated a margin of error when you produced your results that'd be something, but to just say "oh hey, 29 is close enough to 32 and 60 is close enough to 64" isn't really reasonable IMHO. 4 degrees on Synuefe XR-H d11-102 1 b is something like 80 km. It's not that close.

But all that wasn't really my point. Mainly I was objecting to your attempt to dismiss dissenting opinion based on what you perceive to be their lack of contribution. That's not fair and doesn't help your case at all IMHO.

Unfortunately the message delay may be due to the usage of udp instead of tcp for the message delivery. I guess it might involve a major architectural changes to fix. Or at the very least need extensive testing to see if the current infrastructure and message volumes can scale using tcp.
