Now that we know when the beta is starting (we didn't want to clash with first weekend of beta) and therefore when the next point release is likely (working forward 4 weeks from that point - all things being equal), we now have some dates that we can work with. Checking with our core team, announcement SOON(tm).

I will update the top post with those who are interested in joining in this evening. Behind the scenes, Alien has been doing a great job on the route so far. We won't publish it immediately as it will give those dastardly pirates too much warning. We WOULD suggest any groups going along to test their wing-action in terms of dropping out to rescue each other, sticking together, jumping at the same time to next destination etc as it makes it look oh so much more slick on the night.

We will also be running a multi-twitch stream, so if anyone's on twitch for the evening, feel free to let us know your twitch ID and we'll add it to the multitwitch wall.

I don't mind doing fighter support or carrying cargo. I could probably do both in the Clipper!

CMDR Heartfield hasn't confirmed if he wants to join such a... frankly foolhardy, wing. And so there are still two spaces up for Grabs. It is a PC Platform wing. I shall be multi-role with an Anaconda with space for 160T of mugs

Could anyone who has posted that they are looking for a wing state explicitly that they'd be happy to join CMDR Brigand and me.

I know it appears a little weird to say that I'm a PVE fighter when my signature shows I'm part of a fighter club...

But my main use of it is to hone my skills for fighting NPCs. If anyone wants to practise their PVP skills they can join us Wed 7pm GMT at Leesti. Everyone is welcome, including pirates that haven't yet committed to joining a pirate group. Just make sure you turn up in a stock Sidewinder, and you have settled all your business, collected any outstanding bounties and/or cartographic information, and are fully prepared for a little bit of death.

What sort of resources do you need to participate? I would like to see if I could get in on this, but thus far my biggest ship is a Cobra that carries ~40 tons (though I could probably squeeze a bit more).

EDIT: Just to clarify, organising your wings is mostly up to you. Us Hutton Truckers will organise our wings, but the list in the spreadsheet, is not a definite, set-in-stone list.
