Your Greatest Discoveries

Nice find Cmdr :) Cheers

If i have to put a list of my favorite discoveries...hmmm. Lets see. In no particular order:

1. A star with enormous 36 000 000km+ ring
2. Two planetary nebulae: Loijeia KR-W E1-10 and Oephail DA-A E47
3. System with two very massive Hebrigs, WR and a Black Hole
4. System with Big Four: Water World,TC Water World, Ammonia World and a Earth-like World
5. A ringed ELW orbiting Neutron Star (it was worth 71600Cr)
6. Three ringed WWs and a ringed AW
7. This amazing system. It doesnt fit in one screen

8. This mammoth planet

9. A I0 type star, which seems to be the rarest procedure generated object. In addition to that and as far my knowledge goes this star is the largest procedure generated object reported so far:

Where the planetary description says 'Water Geysers', are they actually active? Can they be seen spouting, erupting, whatever?

I've bookmarked a nearby (to me) system that has 'Water Geysers' and I'm very tempted to go and look, but if it's just a description, then I'd rather carry on grinding my Imperial rank for a while.

I'm not much of an Explorer, still Pretty Aimless 87% so could/would anyone recommend some POI's close by-ish to Aisling Duval territory that are worth going to see? Not that I'm aligned with her or anything....we're just good friends, but I'm trading/couriering in her backyard.

TIA

I have landed on many planets of different types and sizes all the way to Beagle Point. Unfortunately all of them seem to be completely static. Never seen any kind of geysers or volcanism.

it's an upcoming feature. e.g. will come somewhere between season 2 and season 10.

Just found a system with SIX water worlds AND an ELW

I'd have to say my 2 ELW's & 2 Teraform WW's orbiting a Class L star.
A close 2nd would be my ELW orbiting a Herbig star.
To a lesser degree my ELW co-orbiting a class M & T star, my ELW orbiting a class B star, and my ELW orbiting a T-Tauri star.
I also have several cartographic record breakers to submit upon return.

I should add that I've found a Class M star with rings.
Seemingly very very rare.

(I'm convinced anything and everything is possible. ELW orbiting a Class O star -- a hot T star -- a hot Y star..)

I think it's all there.
realistic or not, I've found some crazy stuff.

i dont want to post pics yet but i found something that has altered my plans for exploring the neutron fields, and head to sell data - black hole system with 3 neutron stars!. and no names! so im gonna sell data. but its one more off the bucket list.

also found an earth like round a secondary star to a black hole. someone else first discovered the black hole but they either didnt see or couldnt be bothered to scan the second star and possible earth like.

I quite like this earth like I just found, it's a binary companion to a ringed Y class brown dwarf. Can't be that common a thing.

I don't think there will be an ELW orbiting a blue supergiant. EDD lists it's habitable zone in the neighborhood of 2.9 million ls or greater. Unless they ignore what is even remotely possible lol.
