NPC Mingers - too many!

first (virtual) world problems.... but seriously looks like FDEv made 3 face types a few hair types and threw them in the blender, a bit like their planets. Fdev don't seem to be big on diverersity.

But hey, at least you got a few faces to go with the names. even if they do look like Mr Potato head and his relatives.

different horses for different courses, sometimes for some folks, that is probably pretty literal.. so i guess the OP thinks he/she is not a minger by other peoples standards?? or is the objection more about wanting to see something different than in the mirror? :p

Jaylene's real name is Bruce.

interesting, i saw someone pretty similar, behind the till at my local shop a few weeks back, the other guy called her Jason. didn't really get the best of looks, they made of pretty quick exit once they had all the change.. and smashed the place up a bit. thankfully there were no real problems.. i pay by switch see.

actually, that reminds me, the store manager gets out of hospital some time this week, need to go bend his ear about some stuff he was meant to have ordered for me..

aye, can't argue with you there. i'd be more inclined to travel, outside the bubble, for those vistas. kinda reminds me of a girl i used to see from Denny, she had smaller ears though.

as a side note.. fel orcs marching across the hills and destroying everything, is probably on par with how welcoming Denny town centre looks these days. i joke of course.. Denny looks far worse, i reckon the orcs would turn back.

Holy *** , are you living in a war zone ?

Cheers Cmdr's

Good thing I'm a soulless cyborg whose humanity was handed to her in the form of a pile of broken shards first place. At least those shards are not nearly powerful or complete enough to completely override my inbound sensors with a meaningless filter scanning the environment for reproductive health markers at the expense of tuning down everything else.

If I wasn't at work I would post a youtube video 'cow and motorcycle'

wow, actually these 5 people don't look that bad. the people I usually come across look a lot more scary and I wonder if I even docked at a human settlement.

I hope we get a holo them feature and can customise NPCs int he future too. That would help some RP players devloping their stories.

The current ultimate NPC quest in ED seems to be finding a good looking ahrmless NPC you can level for being less greedy on your payments.

What I reeally miss is a few natural shades of skin colors uinbetween pale and chocobron smeared with engineerign oil. and some more shades of darkblonde till black hair colors. That si what makes the unievrse look very strangely and really questions genetics. Sure fashion may change, but a lot people, Especially black Ones seem to have hair colors that aren't colorised and have strange haircts that don't fit very much into a natural look.

Also, has anyone seen some asian kind of people? Or is that extinct in the future?

hm I wonder if the NPC Face generation has changed sometimes in the past - perhaps so user generated (commander faces) won't be the uglyest out there...
I have to admit I haven't seen any good looking NPC crew members lately, but they - at least - had existed,
but... it seems all the good lookings are under the hood... haha
my ladies :)

i love the idea of all of us commanders having a number of dopplegangers [*points dramatically into the distance and takes on a glazed, woolly look, while contemplating the enormity of that strange, often hostile, and totally alien place] outside..

i think they have gone for what is a very likely analogous of the average E: D spacer. in many ways convenience dictates hairstyle, solar protection on our ships, clearly has the same side effect as the weather in my beloved Scotland, keeping our complexions peely-wally, and hair dreekit. now, the planet based politicians and vip's seem to have it better, but well, they eat real food.. of a plate no less?! and not out a bag (no talking fish and chips here) or a tube (could be talking smarties) and don't spend most their lives attached to a chair in a low-g environment.

but, i guess it is early days of the system, i'm sure once commanders get there hands en-masse, on holo-me, the resulting creations will provide frontier with extra data for fine tuning, and replication of their npc generation.. although i'm suddenly reminded of the saying 'be careful what you wish for' :D lol
