URGENT help needed in QUINCE!!!

The multiple data scan missions has really helped the OP. Just two weeks ago he finished his exams and stuff and went out in his Asp and got melted by a Neutron Star. After a cargo drop of metals to aid his recovery, the Commander (who is from Sacra Oculus) then came across Quince and in a matter of days made a couple hundred million enabling him to buy a big ship for deep exploration.

yo my sacra friend!

look guys, at the end of the day i think the reason why people have decided to do this is because of how hard it is in the first place to make money in this game. i think most of us will agree that this game is WAY too grindy sometimes and the amount of effort for a small reward is way too high. i know that this has given me a way to make money and im going to mmilk it until its over because otherwise i would not get anywhere!

OP, I've just checked Quince and it seems that The Foundation is getting ready to try another take over attempt of a station - within a week or two. When this happens I will be calling on CMDR's to join in the war and help my minor faction get a base. If you want to keep on making huge amounts of cash for little to no work you could help in this but please do not try and stop or work against us. :)

I'm a solo player, but i agree with you. Piracy should attract notoriety.

There's a reason we know Blackbeard's name.

While I agree - and in fact believe that presence and reputation are integral to PvP piracy - there's a very solid reason the forum allows no naming and shaming.

Allow me to demonstrate.

Thread: FURINKAZAN GRIEFING AT LAVE

Help guys. CMDR Furinkazan is going around blowing up rares traders and new players at Lave.

No questions, just interdictions and laughter over local chat.

Clearly a sadistic and horrible individual. Please help kill him on sight.

...

So yeah. Keep in-game grievances within the game, or you'll just end up with the forum being used to generate hate against someone to have them killed for the lols, or (worse) because you couldn't handle an in-game run-in with them within the game.

Wow "The Foundation" sounds super serious. Remind me who they are again that they may caution random commanders with their internet awesomeness. I love role play, it's so cute.

As a matter of interest, how long has this farce been running?
If this has been accepted for any length of time by FD, it is simply blatant stupidity, in my view, it is a complete disregard for the product they, themselves produce.
That is incredible..

Cheers Cmdr's

Been available for at least 4-6 months. Probably longer, but became well known about then.

Requires a fair amount to enable--you probably can't walk in and get very far with next to no Empire rank. As exploits go, it's up there in terms of credit gain (along with the base missile attack missions in the same time frame, nearly same approach, and the much older "seeking luxuries" one) that I recall.

my fault i didnt realise i couldnt name and shame even tho naming and shaming should be aloud for pirates in my opinion. oh well hes in a python and there was an fdl
It is ironic that it's left up to players for the most part to defend themselves from other players, and they're being prevented from sharing information for that purpose.

How about not giving a s..., letting them Play their game and you can still Play yours, at theirs don't affect yours in any way? People deliberately miss on some Thing to get what they want. And everyone is searching for something else in this game, which isn't called sandbox by mistake.

But they do affect my game :

1 They affect the BGS in that system

2 They get bigger ships faster, so they contribute to the in-game ship inflation

3 They complain bitterly that their credit farming is being affected by "griefers" and NPCs because their skill levels are low relative to their big ship requirements, so the NPCs get nerfed.

There's three examples for starters !

Do you really think this forum should provide the opportunity to engage in witchhunts? I don't, regardless who the witch may be.

I would prefer something like NPC bounty hunters, actually.

I'm pointing out that there is a. No clear way for information about mass/serial attacks to spread to players ingame, and b. Some prevention of spreading that information outside the game. That makes it difficult. The morality of a situation like this isn't black and white to me, because apparently they're attacking (probable) exploiters. It may be vigilantes trying to "save the game". (Or it could just be sadists.) But if players want to band together and stop the attacks, and that's what they're "supposed" to do because no one else will, it doesn't strike me as definitely morally wrong to say who the target is.

i have seen at least 1 post today where a person has actually complained becauuse other methods of earning money are pitiful compared to this, and so should be boosted to match.

which is my number 1 reason why i think these expl.................................................. features need to have been removed from the game, as soon as found.

but hey ho, not my game :(

anyone remember when FD stated in dev diaries about the working economy in the game tho? how is this part of a functional economy?

Keeping on topic: Did the criminals get dispatched? Some other identifying information would help, too, such as the ships they are in, their individual combat ranks, their tactics, any custom paints on their ships, etc.

Simple answer is "It's not" Slightly longer answer is "We don't have a working economy, we dont even have a broken one. We have a place holder where magical RNGesus determines supply and demand"

Exploiting mission stacking doesn't help any user. They just miss out on everything the game has to offer.
Cash without experience is both unrewarding and ultimately useless. Their loss.

Well I just rinsed Quince, on my Gamma save, because I fancied a Cutter. Apart from the previous cash cows (seeking luxuries, uncapped rares etc.) precisely what bit of the game did I miss out on?
I got way better at planetary landings, had a bunch of fun and made a stack of cash. Oh, the depravation!

Not my fault you've never heard of the foundation, try reading Issac Asimov's The Foundation saga. By the way, who are you again?

Also your selfie is hysterical!
