THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

Im still waiting for Anneka Rice to run in shouting "stop the clock!"

This mystery riddle really does sound like an old 80s tv show.. Give us a puzzle to solve thats actually in game and doable in game just like the guardians stuff. These forum whodoyouthinkdoneit's are boring and uninteresting for most.

The moon has no bases though. I thought it had to be actively controlled by the faction to have the name, like minor factions still have minor stations without major faction names?

Edit: scratch this. Your brain ever look for a connection so hard that it sharts itself? [noob]

I have unwrapped your cigar. I hope I can hand it to you soon, but don't over think it.

Cheers,

Drew.

If this is correct:

"At Phaethon's Reach, Follow the Path of Souls, DB-IB Fi(0) T-1319 SUM(10,7,5,3)"
.
Could Fi(0) mean the start of the Fibonacci series?

If we take the numbers 1319, 1984, 3303 as Fibonacci series, we can extend these as follows, 654,665,1319,1984,3303.
.
If we join numbers 654,665,1319 as follows, 6546651319 we have ten numbers, from this result, we then select numbers according to positions indicated by the numbers 10,7,5,3.
.
We then obtain for position 10 we get a 9, for position 7 we get a 1, for position 5 we get a 6 and for position 3 we get a 4. From this we obtain numbers 9164.
.
Therefore, either the number 9164 represents something as is, OR, we could SUM(9+1+6+4) = 20, which is the Fibonacci position F(20) which equals 6765.

Then, taking these numbers at Phaethon's Reach we get xxExHxPxxS***. I know it sounds silly but at least it's simple.

As suggested before, Moirai fits well with the 21th verse of the poem:

Excellent work, fits well -

The individuals were Klotho (Clotho), the "the Spinner," who spun the thread of life (A COURSE TO FOLLOW), Lakhesis (Lachesis), "the Apportioner of Lots", who measured it (POOR MISERS SUM), and Atropos (or Aisa), "She who cannot be turned," who cut it short (A FINAL WORD).

But the order is wrong: a final word (Átropos), a course to follow (Lachesis), a poor misers sum (Klotho or Clotho). ALC, ALK for the final characters of the location?.

Or we take Fi(0) as the end of the Fibonacci series beginning at 3303-1319 (T-1319). So 3303-1319=1984, 1984-1319=665, then "0" because the next operation would take you in negative territory, which is below "0" anyway and we said Fi(0) is where we stop.
When we put those numbers next to each other we get: 0-6-6-5-1-3-1-9-1-9-8-4-3-3-0-3. The "10th, 7th, 5th and 3rd" digits are 9-1-1-9. Sum is 17. Ok, I'm gonna stop now.

It's about time to restate our broad knowledge minus the overt tinfoil.

Main ED Mysteries since launch:

Raxxla- Nothing confirmed.

Thargoids- Indirect evidence (Barnacles, UA, Meta Alloys, Flower ships, etc.)

Formidine Rift-

Drew has said what was hidden in the rift might not be immediately conspicuous, but would become clearer over time. To me, that means it isn't a point of interest or necessarily even something tangible. There's also no indication that any of the superpowers are particulary concerned with the rift. This is an important distinction that many overlook- thinking that they are trying to silence Salome to protect some insider knowledge. That's not been confirmed.

TOW found something. Salome investigated. Something that she found prompted her to lead the Distant Worlds expedition. This means what she found in the rift made her seek knowledge elsewhere. I think the community should take that as a hint, even a year later. As a result of this, other factions appealed for exploration data. From this point on it's pure conjecture.

Sub Plots:

Flower Ships: who knows yet?

Exodus: The expedition to the rift by sirius(?) was not in response to strange happenings in the rift. Clearly whoever funded this trip was concerned about something, and was plotting backup locations to run away to. I feel that this will be important later, but this will play out over a year or more, rather than over the next few months. As for the ships not returning? The rift claimed a couple of ships (adding to the mystery but telling us nothing that we don't already know), the rest were obviously intercepted and destroyed by the contract givers. Unshielded and unarmed anacondas? A sidewinder could pop them.

FSD research: Sirius has been experimenting with either longer jump ranges, or wake emissions or something. This is going side by side with Salome's story and developing on a day to day basis.

Salome: This story is not the rift's story. We need to realize that. It can give us hints, but don't expect the conclusion of the Rift to come anytime soon. Salome knows something about the rift. She knows that it is dangerous. It prompted her to travel all across the galaxy, but her story is not the rifts story.

Overview of galactic affairs:
Something is stewing. A threat blisfully being ignored by most of the population. War is on the horizon. The question is: between who?

Overview as to rift affairs:
Whatever we are looking for is something that we have to be looking for. Drew has really said this time and time again. It depends on who goes looking. As in the person that goes looking has to know what he's looking for. It would behoove us to brainstorm things that may not be immediately apparent. Maybe it's space magic. Like the scourge in the new mass effect. Some form of brain twisting dark energy. Maybe it's something boring like cloaking aliens. Maybe it's a sentient AI like the reapers from mass effect. Maybe it's drew's face carved into the side of one of the moons. To sum up: we just don't know enough.

Erm... Salome did not lead DWE - she merely turned up and told us to be careful who we sold our data to. And that our trip mapped new routes around the galaxy, including to the rift - which makes no sense, but I digress...

Maybe there is something hinting in there. (It's from the german translated riddle. So i don't know how european names will match.)
The two last lines are missing, sorry.

Fibounaccis Cephyrum in the german text was mentioned as "only at the first view worthless, fibounacci bring "her" (which in english would be better "it") into the arythmetic.

If you stick this together its 0 - zero. To visualize the Fibounacci numbers you can draw sqares (i dont go deeper... If you are interested, please search google for it) the 0 can't really be drawn becaise it is a point. And this point is exactly in the middle..

So: we got some systems in the bubble. These systemy (i am not ingame to proof this) made a figura in space.
1) to find out what the riddle means, we need to find ALL systems
2) i think there would be a system in the middle of this figura which is the ultimate solution

Problem: bellephon can't be found in the galaxymap; cassiopeia are 5 stars, not 1; there are more rows of the poem reffering to Prism - is the system now near to prism becaus you calculate with 5 points there or does it count like 1 system and one hint

-> this can be a good way... Or it is total crap... I don't know ^^
