THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

I'm listening to the interview with O-Ant at the moment. And I find I'm looking forward more than ever to the 29th, now, even though I'll need to play in open.

The only question (for me) to answer, is whether I re-equip my Conda for PvP, or buy something else... FDL perhaps, and engineer it up, camp in the bubble, and... wait.

So all we have to do is locate these characters and offer them a lift? Get them to multicrew onto our ship (hand wave away the whole tele-presense thing) and transport them where ever they need to go - all safe from the foaming-at-the-mouth greifers who will be looking for them and not us?

Sounds simple...

Thats actually a brilliant idea.

I have never pvp only pve but i thought i would give it a go but....
I lasted about 10 seconds in my fighting modded Python at one of the new gen ship locations. Although it cost me 7 mill insurance, Its helped make my mind up to just take a small fast ship on the 29th.

He's trying to kill us all off in one Blake's 7 style shoot out :(

He wants to go write books about Star Citizen - and turn their players into a bunch of paranoid, mythology obsessed, dribbling lunatics.

What did you expect from Salomé? Be a nice pawn and die for her glory ;)

She could just send a postcard and save all this faffing about.

Edit:
Oh, it's Kahina 'Why use one word when ten will do' Loren. It'll have to be a letter.

FDL's for PvP are godly... take a look at this amazing video taken by CMDR Mesafalcon.

I don't think Salome would be willing to jump into anybody else's ship :p

"Salome (and fellow protagonists) will have no special tech above and beyond what is available to players."

Well, so if even Mr Wagar himself spells the cultist priestess name Salome,
I will assume that CMDR Salomé and CMDR Salome, both registered in the game, will be the same character on 29th.

Now that we know where the chase starts and that all characters try to get to the bubble, I do wonder where did they come from? The Witchhead Nebula certainly appears to be very close...

It is supposed to be Salomé - don't know how to do an é on my phone. ;)

And there is only one 'Salomé' in the game.

Cheers,

Drew.

He is keeping Luko safe. ;)

Luko is currently sitting in an asteroid base made entirely from meta-alloys saying:

Hassan, I still can't believe she agreed to the T9 plan.
'Yeah babes, they always deliver explosives in shieldless traders. It's the perfect disguise"
She never been the brightest laser in the fleet.

Hassan:
This better work. Alessia is gonna lose it if she has to sit through another one of Salome's speeches.

Luko:
Seriously though, why did you have to give her a name with one of those untypeable letters in it? I really wish that cat had been called 'Tiddles Fluffy'.

I suspect Luko of being some sort of agent of The Dark Wheel. Being those who pull the strings of CoR they will soon play a major and more visible role IMHO...maybe for the next act/book.

Wasn't Luko who introduced the witch to the Dark Wheel inside that Boa ship on Tionisla graveyard ? Is it canon lore ?
