More than 15ly, they were not traveling at c.
First in a straight line to Sol there is a group of three systems about 26ly - Abrogo, LHS 2149, Yin Sector GW-W C1-26. I am there right now, nothing so far.

Maybe they didn't travel direct line. Even when traveling sup light speed you would travel to system and then slingshot from it to next one like NASA does send spaceship straight from Earth to mars but use moon to gather speed.

Dead aliens and mega ships are easier to develop than live ones!
Also you probably need to pay for season 3 to play with the ones that can still wriggle!
I am sitting here beside this generation ship wondering how the heck it ended up in close stable orbit above an uninhabitable planet. We know it received a message from a planet 15 ly back saying kill kill kill, but what is it doing here, in orbit of a dead world? I was under the impression generation ships were only sent to inhabitable planets, were they also sending these things to airless rocks and iceballs?
Not necessarily - it was 15 ly away at the time the log entry was made. We don't know how long ago that is and how far the ship has travelled since.Then it's just bad writing and I'm wasting time
Anyone else getting a Vault-Tec vibe from these ships? We've seen space plague, leadership betrayal, and now white-noise induced homicide.
Or a rich source of sausage meat.
