Had to check translator on that one, as while I know various phrases I'm not that good with it overall, but very appropriate

Your reasons and excuses don't make things look better but much much worse.
Simply accept the disgrace your failure has wrought and whimper away.
But no keep digging,,,,
You wing composition would barely provide security for a Sunday afternoon progress to the local bar.
That wasn't a protection detail but fancy parade.
Argue all you want results speak for themselves..
It is what it is.
Sorry your lordships,,,
shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame
shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame
shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame
shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame
[ad infinitum]
Exactly. Personally I think Salome did her job of designated decoy rather well. It's a shame that one died, but the next one's probably already being brought out of the Axlotl Tanks as we speak.

Epilogue:
Hassan, Raan, Yuri, Tsu, and Luko visit the CG embellished marker in Tionisla. It appears immolated, on fire as the Tionislan primary reflects off the crystalline columns.
Not a word is exchanged.
Then, "That... could have gone... better."
I think there were two separate groups - COR (Children of Raxxla) was the core group but they are not good at PVP normally. Then there was this group PAC who seemed to want to control the second layer of defence - they were the ones who allowed certain other players to be part of their white list, thereby allowing said players through to the last line of defence.
Now from a technical game point of view, I guess it was Salome's choice to have this guy on her friend list (assuming that is correct). However, if none of the opponents had been able to locate Salome anywhere all these threads would be about how boring things were and how those wanting to kill Salome had no chance.
What will be interesting to see is how the ending is written up - Salome was not killed by someone who was acting out of loyalty to the Empire, but by someone acting on a "personal" motive -
Latin has the better one liners I'm afraid
Well, you'd expect a group called the CoR to tell Drew that this was a dreadfull idea?
You could have used that "secrecy" of yours to have a "secret" decoy ?
What's the point of calling yourself CoR if you let that kind of things go ?? What did you actually do to deserve that name ?
""" Escaping""" the Empire for years and then falling for the dumbest trick in the book, laid down by the most well known ganker on this side of the galaxy.... WoW, maybe Salomé wasn't that good after all..
I mean... there is just no excuse.
Info from 7 listening posts in Teorge, sorry if posted already but it is a fast movin thread![]()
Yes we were. Healer beams + frags in my case.
Part of spinning off PAC was so that the sheer number of people wanting to get involved could have a place to organise themselves.
CoR were never part of PAC. This was a deliberate choice on our part so we could concentrate on building up our faction's people and ships without having to constantly look over our shoulder or be limited in what we could or couldn't do.
When we heard SDC and CODE wanted to join PAC, we strengthened our internal security to the point where we were almost turtle. We never trusted them for a single second.
We practiced with PvP loadouts, we practiced making and evading interdictions, and we practiced jumping as a synchronised wing.
We clearly got good at the synch jumping, because our flight made it to the bubble, despite module malfunctions in Salomé's ship, instancing issues, and lots of folks trying to find her.
While all eyes were on Salomé, the other 3 flights got through to the destination. We've lost Salomé who is our faction's figurehead leader. The other 3
She has fallen, but Raan, Tsu and Yuri got the secret out.
That will come, but I need some rest tonight. It's been a stressful time these last few weeks preparation.
What I will say is that Drew has some real drama for his final chapter. Being chased, hot jumping, the damage that goes with that, and having to pause to regroup due to getting separated and instancing. I would like to see how that comes across.
Some of you have a fairly skewed view of reality. CoR doesn't get to tell Drew to do anything. It was Drew's choice to have Salome befriend any and everybody, it was Drew's choice to not limit who could be hunter or hunted. He rightfully wanted the race to play out in game, risks and all and had even said he suspected she'd likely die. He did the right thing because the second he starts saying "you can play, you can't" the vitriol on the forums would be A) warranted and B) 10x worse.
If you're emotionally involved because you really like the character then great, buy Drew a beer for a job well done but you all need to give the real world conspiracy theories a break. They're fun in game but it's actual real people you're talking about, many of them with a hell of a lot more time and emotional investment than you.
I will never get used to just how petty some people can be. Sigh, not interested in giving ED a break or the Rift a break but it's clearly time to give this thread a break. Somebody ping me when it's over.
Edit: for the record I don't have a side here, I wasn't involved in the hunt so before somebody dials up the 'You're just defending them because <insert random reason here>" conspiracy don't waste your time.
