Why did Nakamura gather the Escape Pod if it was just a random Trade Good?

Btw people who sent me the video, informed that he was zoned in to acquire the pod like nothing else mattered, and only stopped panicking when the pod was safely in his cargo hold. I really wanna hear his story, I wonder is there any way to contact him

The video was not staged if thats what you are implying, it happened during the event, people watches it live :)

No they are saying two people transferring Escape Capsules proves nothing.
HP saying he did not see or destroy any pods, that don't drop from destroyed ships anyway in no way proves that the pod being seen tranfeser is Salome's

Stop jumping to conclusions.

If the powers that be want to say it is Salome's pod, they can, but that there is a pod in a video means nothing

Because someone collected it before the Event, and just dropped it in front of the Station we see in this Video.....?

That is not really an answer to my question....

Nakamura was WAITING for the Pod, he could have been destroyed by anyone at this point since he was a VIP too but the POD was important.

Seems i have to repeat myself over and over again.. Nakamura was also wanted by the Empire... by waiting there for this Pod he risked to get sniped / Destroyed. Why would he do that for a random Pod thats not important?

Why would he take it if it wasn't important? Would the response have been "What pod?"
Use your Imagination: This Event + Escape Pods Trade Good....

There will be for sure one who will use it for the lulz.

How did the CMDR who initiated the transfer to Yuri come into possession of the pod in the first place?

The Occupied Escape Pod can be found within Salvageable Wreckage signatures and in Points of Interest on the surfaces of planets and moons.

You mean Felipe? From what I understand they were assigned roles for protecting Salome, and he picked it up in the System where her ship was destroyed. I think Yuri lost his ship as well, and they met up back at the station, where you see the handover happening

Alive, dead, nanite-reanimated corpse - what does it ultimately change? I mean, other than nothing.
The galaxy will still be here, wars will still be fought, famine and plague will still happen - and I'll still be there, selling arms to both sides, food to the hungry, medicine to the sick, and making a profit the whole time.

Let it go.

No players drop escape pods. I don't care if you want to tinfoil and say Fdev somehow altered code to make an exception for this one instance because let's be real, they have enough trouble editing code for patches that there's no way they could accomplish that without doing a month long beta plus a week of it being live and a hotfix.

Salome is statement, at this point

Absolutely correct with all that you state there but...dotcha just love a good but, if Drew whats to use that (yes rather flimsy) mechanic to have at his option for a different ending. Well he can use poetic license to write whatever he see's fit.

Keep up the work MD, doing a stellar job mate.

:D

Yes, Felipe. Was it just like a regular combat aftermath USS in the anumclaw system that Yuri took special interest in? We definitely need to see more of the preceding events to draw any firm conclusions.

Regarding Yuri giving up a rebuy of his ship mid-mission, I have my doubts about that. Here's a kind of debriefing from one of the organizers posted on the Xbox side of the forum. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/348829-The-Event-from-an-Organiser-s-POV/?page=1

I feel like that would have gotten mentioned unless it's a "WHAT ARE THEY NOT TELLING US? WAKE UP SHEEPLE" type situation.

As an xbox player and last minute (and hungover) event participant, schroedingers NPC has now officially piqued my interest. Hope you carry on the investigation and I look forward to your full report. If there's another event like this one (and I sincerely hope there are more frequently) we're positively going to need a well rounded press corps embedded across the defensive effort. The amount of misinformation and conflicting reports has been positively staggering (and awesome too, but at some point I'd like to know the truth).

I promise to report on any new evidence that I receive

Just a question,
since they were all coming to the bubble to give a message (Salomé and friends) wouldn't it make more sense that the life pod was already onboard Felipe's ship because the 'message' is an envoy from <place aliens race here>(Cause I think the twist is going to be there are 2 alien races out there)?

I mean what better way to expose the truth than to walk into an open galactic meeting between Imp and Fed with an alien envoy?

(unless Felipe says they got the pod from the system she KIA'd in) just an alternate book theory :)

Carry On

So the theory is Salome blew up so hard she fell right off the PC into an Xbox instance?

I'm kind of intrigued, but skeptical.

Still, an escape pod is the kind of thing I might pull on my players when running a pen and paper RPG, so I could see it happening, but it would be more than a little underhanded to have it in the wrong version of the game. What's the implication, there was a special "Salome Popsicle" USS that spawned when her ship bit it?
