The Pirating of Col 70 Sector

Lots of systems that are bookmarked and inaccessible around Col 70, I've traveled and probed over several hours w/ no success, no way through.

Indeed there's no access to it directly. Running Man, Witch Head, Col 69 and Orion sectors all comprise a path into the overall sphere that Col 70 encompasses (that is, they're all within Col 70's dimensions) but anything marked as Col 70 itself is locked. The process of searching every system in Col 70 for an unlocked one...well that's hardly feasible. As a guess there might be 300000 or more systems once the unlock sectors within the sphere are subtracted from the total.

I'm helping in the search for 'the next clue' in the area, but that doesn't tie into the RP here. Just don't pirate me, if you please ;-}

My guys are under strict orders to only pirate PVE for now. Its more of an RP thing saying those vessels are headed to and from the Col 70 systems.

There's a nebula/star cluster out there that's not permit locked, but every sector around it is. The Cone Nebula. I though it was pretty suspicious that all sectors surrounding it were locked, but not the cluster itself...

I'm going to try and get as close as I can, and try and find a way in, but no promises.

Ive been out that way and many a explorer before me. There is currenly no way to get there. Though... Now that I think about it. Maybe a Neutron Star would do it.

I'll be in PMD2009 48, open play, If anyone wants to join me in the blockade operations today, feel free to contact me!

I'll be heading back to PMD2009 48 early this week as I've now had my Courier shipped there. I doubt I'll get a chance to play until tomorrow evening at the earliest, though.

If it helps you, Iv made a new objective to blockade Sirius Corporation and Wreaken Ships from also leaving the bubble, so you wouldnt need to leave for PMD2009 48 unless you really want to go there. :)

Well, tell us, if you please. Am hanging out there to look after, what ever may or may not turns up these days [alien]

I'm really not good at reading the Gal Map.. For me, the Cone nebula is permit free. But as I believe it, someone mentioned here that there was a permit locked "bubble" around it. How far out and how thick is it?

My DBX can do 50ly jumps with no boost. If I get Jumponium injected in there, I get 77ly with the +50% boost. I don't have the Arsenic nor Polonium for the +100% boost yet. Is that enough ly range to get in to Cone? Hell, is it enough to get into Col 70?

There is nothing out there, just random thea canisters.... I believe is waste of time but up to you :)
If you do it do it in open ;)

Are you referring to the Cone nebula, or a previous post? And, if I may ask; what do you mean by "thea canister"?
