Time for an evening update:
Improvement across the board in the Adder Fodder category, and a couple of notable new entries from Buckyball regulars Cmdr Polly and Cmdr Bruski. Despite a remarkable SRV performance in his "The Self Preservation Society", and making "The Pakistani Ambassador" truly feel the heat (let's hope no one take this bit out of context, ever), Cmdr Bruski's final time puts him straight at the bottom of the board. But we all know the spacebear's relentless attitude, we'll surely hear more from him in the near future
(Note: hull value not available due to temporary technical problems with video footage. Let's just say that even a 1% hull wouldn't cut anyway. Sorry cmdr!).
In the meantime, Cmdr Inga Stevenson improves her previous run by managing the daring achievement of slamming her still white-hot "Subtracter" down at London Relay at 1% hull, giving her enough of a push to surpass Cmdr Jak by a little margin and putting Cmdr Birdnose in her sights.
(Note for Cmdr Inga Stevenson from Race Direction: please do a check of your Scarab transponder, we received multiple entries where its submitted name didn't correspond to our registered "Prospector 10", let us know if we should change it)
Cmdr Polly storms the ranks by squeezing a run directly in the second position and just under the 30 minutes mark thanks to outstanding expertise in both flying wings and rolling wheels. Or rolling wings and flying wheels, both things work well enough in this race.
Closing comments on Cmdr Alec Turner, who confirms his temporary leadership once again with yet another improved time! Whatever his
"great idea" might have been it must have worked a treat, putting him well ahead of the competition even with Polly's blazing new entry. That "316%" overheat value makes one feel the burn just by reading it, that's taking "reckless flying" to a whole new level of lack of self preservation. So much for The Self Preservation Society!

That 2% must have been a real bummer though but, hey, leave some glory for the others too!
Cmdr Inga mantains her leadership in both rover challenges, with a new improved record of 2942 meters traveled in a single jump in the Frequent Flyers Club. You should think about equipping your "Prospector 10" with a Business Class, you know.
In the Big Air Challenge Cmdr Bruski jumps directly into 2nd position with his 572, with Polly surpassing <-lightspeed->'s Chicken Grab in light of her 361 meters. Polly and Bruski take the 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the Frequent Flyers Club with remarkable jumps not too far from Inga's current record, all the while Alec Turner succeeds in making his "Preeetty Carrr" jump longer than <-lightspeed->'s "Chicken Grab" with a respectable 1770 meters hop.
In the meantime, I'd like to reassure everyone about our brave Cmdr Tannik Seldon: he's doing well, last time we heard from him he was
well on his way to Kronecker Beacon, and his race is still definitely ON! Godspeed commander!
No new updates in the Open Unlimited category for now, I'm confident we'll hear something soon in that regard, stay tuned!
