Israelis no doubt don't appreciate Saudi's getting advanced air defence gear. Makes them harder to bully.
Other than that the Saudi army is not a threat. They are the ultimate "all the gear, no idea" rich kid poser. Their armed forces are very low in personel, and can't even manage to beat the impoverished Yemeni's (who have heaps of fighting spirit and no money what so ever).

If it is, AQ is more likely to be involved as they are more involved with Saudi Arabia.
