FDev, I'll trade in my 30 Sidewinder pileup that I was all excited about minutes ago but then forgot about when reading Tezcatlipoca's post, I'll trade that in for early access to the tutorials as part of preordering ED.

Considering my download speed, which is slower than molasses in February. I wont ge involved with the cluster fok at the mail slot. Between downloading, installing, and all the totorials, I'll be dead from old age by the time I'm ready. Recon I'll have to do that Jesus thing and rise from the dead.

Bump. This post, and mine before it, are relevant again because of the recent 2.4 news from FDev, which includes a blurb about an open beta for all players. The purpose of the beta is to test the 2.3.10 patch coming out on June 27th. In that thread I asked if this would include PS4, since it sounds like the patch will be for all platforms. However, that thread is growing faster than Jack's beanstalk, so I'm asking that question here.
So FDev, a quick "yes" or "no" will do me fine. I won't complain if "no", and if "yes" then please tell me where to sign up. I'll forgo sleep to help you win the day. Because remember, I love you Fdev! [heart] [heart] [heart] [heart]

They have held "Open beta's" before... It means "open to those players on the platform the beta is being held on" (so far only PC/Mac). So for those players there is no requirement for them to have the pre-paid Beta access.
Basically an open beta is meant to provide a wider range of data from players with all sorts of (PC) configurations and internet access.
Xbox does not have beta's, only PC/Mac, so it is extremely unlikely that there will be access for PS4 players to this beta, especially since the game won't even be released on PS4 at that time.

But PS4 could allow beta access for people who pre-ordered from the PSN store like Destiny is doing. FDev. We approve.
Probably won't happen but could if FDev chose to do so.
I would also be happy for a two week beta between E3 and the 27th launch date.
well weather we get a 2 week beta or not i will just be happy to finally get my pre-order at 2am friday manchester time and then sit see what happens. because either way they will add stuff to pre order to get more players interested in pre ordering or we get whats already promised and still be happy. enuff said

You know, I'm tempted to modify my NTP server just to see if I can trick ED to play a little early (at least tutorials). Obviously this won't work.... But.... Why not verify? Scientific method!
