An interview with one of Elite Dangerous' most hated

@ Winterwalker! he is One of the millions, but most of them, does not changes a bit. Just because of the very few rare exceptions we must save them all or just give em an infinite number of chances? Sorry! but i don't think so!

And again?! There are no such thing as "intresting" psychopathy, there are only psychopathy what you trying to sell as a ware, what only makes it even more disgusting.

If under purpose you meant trouble? Than yes... Sadly, I cannot classify this kind of "purpose" as a purpose, but a pain in the back what's must be rid of it as soon we can, and considering the open / group players proportion, Safe to say, most of the Commanders sharing my viewpoint

Besides? the only thing i can feel toward persons, whom think to be like this gives purpose? Is sorry...

The very need to get rid of a harmful agent "as soon as we can" sounds like a most urgent purpose to me.

Very often, the most important purposes in life ultimately boil down to eliminating a source of suffering, in one form or another.

My source of suffering is Pilot Federation commanders invading my sovereign territories.

This has to be the most interesting article I've ever read:

This daring journalist probes deep into the psyche of one of our galaxy's greatest criminal masterminds. And he ends up discovering a shocking truth:

...that the galaxy would be utterly void of purpose in the absence of our "most hated" commanders.

NPD in a nutshell!

Ta for the article btw. Tell you what, been here since 2014 and never heard of you!

I have now.

[up]

;)

3 people who didn't just hang around their home town, beating up smaller kids.

Beating up small kids in real life, is something completely else right?
... Computer game?
You could be 10 years old or 65 (fat, tall, thin or small) there's no discrimination in it far as I can see.
Besides, many smaller kids are probably a darn sight better at ED than most full grown men! lol

All a bit on the oversensitive side if you ask me, especially to be (quite) hateful towrads (alleged) haters. Go on now .. learn to run?

No, you don't need to worry about Zarek hunting you. Unless you're a noob in a Sidewinder you're all good.
I think you are just not aware the fact there is an ongoing war between me, and all of the trolls and griefers of the web which is raging since i left crossfire...

I don't know though. I see what you're saying but remember the Wheel of Pain? Without his trial, Conan would never have become what he was. If he'd been put to the Wheel of Fluffy Bunnies would he have lived? No, he was forced to fight, to survive.

There is a distinction definitely, between 'interesting' griefing and being a hat but in large part that's down to attitude I think, both in the attacker and also too in the attackee. So you can either turn up your toes and wither away or say to yourself, "right then, this time I'm gonna makes it" ff you see what I'm saying.

Solo modes are also available?

Conan the Barbarian is a fictional character.
A character created by a man who died a virgin - he committed suicide when his mother died.

Probably not the best source to draw life lessons.

Noob = noob and besides, many smaller kids are probably a darn sight better at ED than most full grown men! lol

Everyone here knows how willing I am to stand up for the ganker lifestyle, and even I can't condone Null's playstyle. That's gotta tell you something right there. He just sits in an uber shielded Corvette (the same thing with the other CMDR Punished Mobius mentioned in the article), serially clubbing new players on a mass scale, and then running or clogging as soon as AA shows up and starts wailing on him. He makes SDC's activities look princely in comparison.

Aaaah he stumbles and trips over his internet cable while running away? Oh well, hopefully the karma system will endear better cable management and fleeter movement of feet from our narcissistic friend.

Lol

Yet Conan, was awesome. And just an example; look at SAS selection, Jedi trials, anything that pushes you.

You might think it puts people off but there's a solo mode, and believe me, Elite : Politically Correct .. bombed.

I don't think it matters actually, a sidewinder is faster than a Corvette ..
Or lesson one; steer clear of Corvettes??

I suspect that similar to Punished Mobius your goal is de facto recruiting agent for Mobius PG by mass killing noob sidewinders in your vette. You guys both have quite a reputation as being serial cloggers as soon as it looks like your own shields are going down. I agree with the statement, though, that our most notorious villains help give purpose to an otherwise bland universe, but you and your buddy sort of fall somewhere below the minimum threshold for what I consider a villain.

Is that the concept behind Punished Mobius' name? This is the first time I've heard it explained.

My objective is to make the galaxy a better place, not to drive people away. First, I conquer a region of space. Then I use my newfound power to impose a better system of law, that brings true prosperity to the region. It's only commanders that defy my campaign of peace-bringing that suffer any harm. Nobody has to get hurt. Those who do experience loss only do so because of their own impetulant defiance. Why anyone would resist a peace-bringer is beyond me.

Unfortunately the blame as always lies with FD for not making the starter system's safe for beginners; this stuff has been bought up before and they still do nothing ;so only thing I can figure is they kinda like it.
