An interview with one of Elite Dangerous' most hated

Early in my career, I killed a lot of people in Eravate - I too cleansed the system!

But they all had bounties.

And I did it in an eagle.

I suspect that similar to Punished Mobius your goal is de facto recruiting agent for Mobius PG by mass killing noob sidewinders in your vette. You guys both have quite a reputation as being serial cloggers as soon as it looks like your own shields are going down. I agree with the statement, though, that our most notorious villains help give purpose to an otherwise bland universe, but you and your buddy sort of fall somewhere below the minimum threshold for what I consider a villain.

My goal whenever I am there is actually more a benevolent one. Since new players don't have cargo or even lives worth taking I ask for a simple joke. Most of the time it goes off great. And I leave them with the advice of getting out of dodge in case they run into someone a little less nicer than me. Null may be the most infamous but he is not the only one out there. And by shanghaiing people like this into my service is makes sure I have a potential crew to form at almost all times and gets them out of their sidewinders as a bonus. I did say you can call me Sugardaddy Mobius when Multicrew dropped. And anyone who tells me to Fdev myself gets blown up.

I am trying to upload the pics of the best ones but it says invalid files. I'll figure that out in a bit. Maybe Imgur them or something. I promise some of the punch lines you will (WW2 baddies) Notzee coming.

OK got them onto an Imgur album enjoy the giggles

As for combat logging I have had some infuriating disconnects and bad crashes lately since 2.3 Usually I can get back in contact with the people and finish the fights. But of course there are people who take the opportunity to be bitter and instantly block or refuse communications to even let them explain. Like totally dude my Vette combat logged in the first 45 seconds against a Gunship... Its all about context. There is only one situation I would genuinely combat log against another player and that is if I was dumb enough (I try not to be) to bring my Elite Fighter into PVP. She gets to sit doing nothing in the lounge and steal my money like a real wife. Not to drag more people into this but ask SDC leader. He has called me cowardly for always High waking out when things go south for me. (I also have pics) So if you ever see me CL its most likely a disconnect or crash. I suppose I will have to start recording or something to log crashes and avoid being taken to Kangaroo court like poor Zarek here with all the "investigations".

I met Punished Mobius, my first encounter with him involved hundreds of tons of gold he showered my ship with. Don't believe everything people tell you about anyone.

Sure, sure Punished. That's not how AA looks at it. For the record, I only brought you up because the article Null linked opened the door to it, so fair game.

This seems like advertising, I imagine you wrote the article yourself.

So, you think this guy: https://twitter.com/johnsantina?lang=en

...and this person: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHNyHFpzfLmaZjYjSG0jBOw

are the same guy?

John Santina writes lots of gaming articles. See http://www.growngaming.com/.

You think that Zarek Null is a gaming journalist and also a griefer/troll at the same time, and that he wrote an article where he pretended to interview himself, and then posted it on his game news website?

Normally, I would totally agree with such a hypothesis for amusement sake, except that I owe John respect for gratiously featuring me in his article, so I won't.

Sathayorn wishes you would have continued to write that blurb in the third person.

This has to be the most interesting article I've ever read:

This daring journalist probes deep into the psyche of one of our galaxy's greatest criminal masterminds. And he ends up discovering a shocking truth:

...that the galaxy would be utterly void of purpose in the absence of our "most hated" commanders.

I'm surprised you're not stuck in a sidewinder your self with all the rebuys you have ate lately. I guess you have been spending time at Quince.

Any vile thing you call me is probably true. Except for the combat logging part. That's all I am trying to get at. But I will post the pics of the best jokes later since I went through the trouble of gathering them.

It is bitting hard on this thread.

Need to edit as I realized there is player called "Punished Mobius"....

@Sathayorn

How does it feel to know you mined that 50 Bromellite for the intentions of evil? You have helped me complete my weapon of terror! Muahahahahahaha!

But for real. Thanks again I really did appreciate not having to do it myself. If you ever need more gold just ask.

It's the recruiting for Mobius PG part that gets me, I think. You go to starter space and kill noobs in order to convert them to PG because "Open is so filled with horrors." Like I said, I usually defend the bad guys, but this kind of activity breaches even my tolerance.
