General / Off-Topic It's been nice and all that...

Right folks, I'm off to new pastures, new forum, new game.

I'll miss the old forum characters but right now, I'm too taken up with my adventures in Star Citizen to serve any particularly useful function on the Frontier forums. My input on here of late has certainly been singularly focused on SC which isn't really appropriate for this forum, either on the PC side or the Xbox.

It's been a good 2 years, I may pop back from time to time until season 2 is over and done with...I paid for it after all.
Be good.

Sad to see valued poster go.

But, do tell, did SC released something more than FPS and those few missions which were available a year ago in February? I was under the impression that until 3.0 hits there is not much new going on in the 'verse...

You'll be back, just you wait, you'll come crawling back! :D

In all seriousness it's good to take a break from the game. Both games seem to offer something different. I for one would love to try No Mans Sky for that whole hopping out on planets and wandering amongst the local fauna and flora.

Still just a few missions, new ships some nice concept ones, great community... and 3.0 hits July 6th to 20th with all the planetary stuff, planetary bases, flora and fauna, trading, interactive NPC shopkeepers, mission givers and hireable NPC and human crew for multicrew ships, modular ship repair and module replacement, item 2.0 upgrades to everything...new netcode...which is why it's all getting busy.

The servers are packed at the moment, some playing arena commander, star marine and lots of new folks to fill up the Persistent Universe side of things asking silly questions. I spend most of the time doing SAR missions in multiplayer, rescuing poor new folks from Grim-Hex or Kareah, filling up the ship with human crew...spawning big ships for the new guys to fly then watch them lawndart them into the station [yesnod]

I've also joined a dedicated SAR group...similar in outlook to the FuelRats except we can rescue players on foot stuck on planets, answer distress beacons activated by players...plus the normal run of the mill medical care from our built for purpose medical and rescue ships like the Cutlass Red...All in all...I'm fairly busy, [haha]

Hate to see you go Mole, don't be a stranger you hear?
Enjoy SC and have fun, fun is the most importand thing when playing a game and if a different game is giving you more fun atm then by all means play that game.
You'll be back no doubt, I hope ED can be as fun to you again as it was.

Take care bud
