Likewise problems arise when people confuse the use of the word "theory".
Unless you would like to state that as per "music theory" then it's only a guess that music exists, or the "theory of gravity" is possibly not true, and you're typing this as you float over the neighbourhood?

So given evolution why don't fish walk up the beach and buy chips etc.. apparently that's where we all came from - what was I saying again? - O yeah, its all a bit chicken or the egg for me - not proven at all

Gills / skin breathing in case of bugs? Trachea. lungs are evolved frome there by increasing complexity.
Brain? nerve cell network in case of bugs and less evolved species brain evolved by forming a denser nerve cell cluster, and from there nerve brain cells started to differentiate from common nerve cells.
This is where the whole thing is messed up... Evolution is not means you just simply switch off one piece to another, but constant refinement, changing, development, with a lot of trials of error, and dead end.

Or just take a look to a frog... From tadpole until adultery, or how the embryo of any animals are changing as growing. Humans included...
As the embryos of any and all species growing they are literally going over the evolutionary ladder.

(as an aside, check up on the use of the word theory, science does not think it means what you seem to think it means)
Fish it is rumoured (theorised) only have a 3 second memory; so why do sardines return to the same place every year to be slaughtered by dolphins - you'd think (given evolution) they would learn and why do salmon return to the same river to die after ten years or so?
Evolution is a theory, it is not fact at all, as there are so many unanswered questions.

What i'm not getting it, how anyone can say a process of development and refinement is magic?
