Hardware & Technical New joystick from Thrustmaster

I thought the T.16000M FCS was the "Elite Dangerous" product tie-in.

:S

Hmm.

Maybe it is different price tiers?

Or maybe it's just a console version of the T16000?

In the end it's a Thrustmaster press release, not a Frontier one.

Something changed. It was supposed to be but, on release, any ED mention/branding was dropped.
New stuff is in "Elite orange" though. Just got one.
Wonder if this new product is the "official grand release" of the ED T16000.M FCS?

It only shows that ED players are a large share of the joystick market that warrants more than one product. Quite an excellent sign for the health of ED.
I am curious what Logitech will do. I just hope they dump all Saitek stuff and start from scratch. The X56 was a major disappointment.

Ooo, hopefully it'll be a bit more inspired than just bundling an existing stick and joystick together this time. Also, what's with the term 'world exclusive'? Like, it's not gonna be available on any other planets? Lucky us!

Good timing - yet another switch on my X-55 failed today which probably means that I'll be in the market for a new HOTAS before long.

I'm more concerned now that Thrustmaster might be in cahoots with them...

No, they are the good guys. But i am sure Saitek was a thargoid move to discourage us. Worked for me, i had two x55 and one x56, and 75% of the time something was broken and i was waiting for replacements or responses from the support.

I got a new HOTAS.X free when my old one wore out, thanks to their 2 year warranty. No complaints about Thrustmaster here :D[up]

Oh, i got my faulty x55 replaced from Saitek as well, even got a x56. Then i spend 2 days remapping and experimenting with the small analoges sticks (which turned out to be useless because too twitchy), and then it broke (first z axis jitter, then loss of axis, then random loss of xy axis) after maybe 3-5 days use.

The problem with Saitek's warranty is that they give you another Saitek. :D
