Want to buy, have questions

Hello, I'm an Elite fan (the original game) and I'm thinking of buying it for my PS4, however I have questions if you'll be nice enough to help.

1: I have a PS4 slim, will it run Elite okay? I don't have a pro and can't afford to buy a pro right now.

2: I never liked pvp and have no interest in doing it, is there going to be a 'Mobius' group for PS4 users?

3: Will a standard DS4 be okay or do I need to buy a flightstick?

4: My internet is 'iffy' and although my isp says I'm on 40/2 I frequently have low download speeds and I'm wondering if that is going to make the game unplayable for me?

5: I have the PS4 branded headset with built-in mic, will it be compatible for Elite so I can talk to others in game?

Your slim will run it. There will be private groups like
mobius maybe actually mobile.
It is designed for the ds4 but only time will tell
As for 4 and 5 I don't know

2: there will be a solo mode for sure. moebius is set up, administrated and run by a private player as other private groups are - i'm pretty sure many will set up similar groups on the ps4, and take the workload on them, to manage it. it could be you :)

4. i play the game very often tethered via my mobile phone with speeds below 64 kb/s (as i have to travel jobwise, and regularly to places with no other internet connection), and it works. obviously in those cases i play solo (as desync ywould get crazy with other players around), and if nothing works, i go exploring (lowest number of assets which needs to be loaded/synced) with server.

1. Yes, we believe so, we don't actually know because we have not been shown it. We assume it will run as well as the Xbox version. We have seen some training mission footage from PAX. No actual in game footage.

Check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vx5J582DSvQ for 1080p version of that footage, we don't know what PS4 this was running on. Assume its the base model.

2. Yes, Mobius is already there, check Playstation Communities on the PS4 or https://elitepve.com/viewtopic.php?t=6685 for their page.

3. DS4 is fully supported and will work great, just like the Xbox controller. HOTAS is optional.

4. Should be fine, Solo is always an option if your connection is really poor but reports are that Elite Dangerous does not need a massive amount of bandwidth unless you want to instance with lots of other human players.

5. Yes.

That's one of the questions the devs did answer :) in flight it replicates a button press, top left and right corners cycle between firegroups and bottom left and right quick select navigation and system panel.

In the galaxy map it works similar to mobile phone to move, select and zoom etc.
