I thought i made it clear when i said my complaint was made, based on the PAX East footage. Let me say that again, so you don't take it out of context again: Based on the PAX East footage (Cause let's be honest, theres not much footage from the PS4 version around). I know how game development works and i also know that they were playing an early build, even they said so on stream.
Will the release build still suffer from screen tearing? Maybe not! No one knows yet, apart from the devs, and hopefully it will not. But then again, i can't predict the future, so my complaint was made...again... based on the few PS4 footage i saw, from PAX East.
Also, i don't see what is the problem of pinpointing something, when a game is closer to launch. Usually, developers take notice and solve the issues at launch (or soon after) with a patch. It happened recently with "Prey" on consoles. The early demo framerate was all over the place, which again bothers some more than others, and the dev took notice and fixed it through a day one patch.
By the way, i know how easy it is, to make fun and even throw some snarky remarks about something that bothers others but not you. It's soooo so easy! If the release build still suffers from screen tearing i have no other choice but play it like that. Although i might try some of your most insightfull advices, like painting the screen black before turning the ship... What a funny bunch. What should we make fun of next, guys?
