People who used the exploits really should lose any and all mods, or better even a wipe and/or being locked into solo.
Who is the idiot?
People read and react to your post, so much so you have to "edit" what was going thru your head, and they are the dummy?
Sometimes less is more...
in an ideal world yes! however FD have OFFICIALLY said no punishments for any of the other exploits which have been so popular would be punished... that said, whilst i personally felt quince was an exploit, FD disagreed with me.
the cheaters may be a symptom of a problem that progression is too slow in your opinion. in my view progression is so fast now its silly. in naval terms , something which ED compares itself to a lot, people are going from a fishing boat to an air craft carrier in under 24hrs play.
madness.
19 pages in less than 3 hours... then "oops, sorry, false positive"! I'm dead.
Yeah, imagine making a post in the thread admitting you were wrong only to have people still consistently reply and go on about salt and "don't cheat stupid".
If you feel a module has been unfairly removed by support in reaction to those using exploits then:
A. Raise a ticket with support.
B. Get angry with the exploiters.
C. Consider that, if you did use the exploit, even once, you may have to shoulder responsibility.
Knew it. Nobody is actually reading the f*cking post.
You're all a smart bunch. Can this thread be closed now? It serves no further purpose except to show how much people would cherry pick responses to feel superior.

All right, so I edited the post to clarify what was going through my head at the time of posts.
Let's see which keystroke-happy idiot goes explicitly off of the thread title now...

Close the thread if ye want...

There has literally been one response following your edit. A tad melodramatic?

It's bad enough you guys took said sledgehammer to anything that looked suspicious
- All Engineer modifications which match IDs with a blueprint used in illegitimate rolls have been removed. The module will be retained, but will no longer hold a modification.
- This action has been performed on all owned ships, and all modules held in storage.
- No reimbursement of materials spent on the removed modifications will be granted.
- Users affected by this change will have received a notification and warning through their in-game inbox.
- All modifications have been removed which match the identified blueprint IDs only. This may include modifications of the same blueprint ID earned through standard rolls, but due to the nature of this exploit, we consider this outcome acceptable. Modifications of unrelated blueprints will not be affected.
If only i could do it myself. lol
