Whilst a few people may stop playing due to this, my guess is that quite a few more players have stopped due to the severe unfun of being continually blown up by uber-engineered ships whilst flying their Freewinder.

Nah would make it boring. Besides its no skin off my back if they are not out there blowing me up then I dont care. The CEOS/SOTHIS Robigo and Quince thing were never exploits, they were just unintended mission issues. They were aware and they fixed it. However with the Ceos Sothis and Robbigo they did something to the mission payout system and it killed regular missions in the bubble. I am not sure if it has recovered yet or not. It does seem they avoided that issue when they patched quince though.

I can make 14 to 20 million an hour in bubble with an ABA trading route. No supposed exploit needed. However I did have to take the time to prep and become allies of all the factions in those 2 systems. That took a while to do.

I tell a lie, FSD and shields working on since Nov last year when I got first engineer and dared go to Maia for alloy.... god that was a long trip in a stock cobra

I haven't cheated, I only heard about it a few weeks ago. I haven't seen where or how its done.

Checked myself this evening, had a non-cheated G5 clean drive tuning upgrade on my Corvette... not lost it, would have been royally annoyed if I had since I know I have not used the exploit.

Just a thought, but if Salome's demise was down to cheating... then Drew is under no obligation to use in-game events to tell her story.

I'd have though he would be under an obligation not to use the in-game events now the person in question has been exposed as a cheater.

If I were you I would avoid saying any of the following in future posts here, (or on Reddit btw, we can read there y'know),as you have zero traction or credibility on the following :-

'Git gud' (you weren't that good yourself though were you?)
'Cowards' (yes, yes you are)
'Safe space' (like cheat ships/wings you mean?)
'Easy mode' (see above)
'cheaters' (pot meet kettle)
'hiding in solo/pg' (who's hiding now?)
'man up' (we did, you didn't)
'pretend space pixels' (quit threats over pretend modules)
'god rolled' (yeah, good one!)
'crymunity' (given your 'we're quitting, waaah' posts)
'NPC's are brain dead' (they would seem it in a total cheat ship)

Did I miss any?

Only shame is, most of them will just slink away into solo for their grinding as they don't have the fortitude to take their own medicine and trade in Open.

No need to check one by one. If they made any changes there would be a message for you when you logged on. No message, no changes. I'm still grinning here. It's kind of a gentle job to be honest. When I think of those impossible ships that kept me from being able to do anything but run (if that) for so long and the number of rebuys straight from that sort of thing over the past year or more... They're getting off light... but an oddly appropriate light. They can grind like the rest of us!
