So, we were all meant to be at the final waypoint today, but quite a few of us are straggling behind.

But regardless, its time to announce the final stage. We knew we were coming to find a home for our friends, so let's get down to business.

There is a competition involved.

Find an earthlike planet with the best conditions and sights for our friends within 1000LY of the final waypoint. Should no earthlikes be discovered, terraforable water worlds can be submitted, but an earthlike will always trump a WW.

Only 1 entry per person. If you want to change your entry, you can do so, but it will invalidate the previous entry. If someone else wants to claim that system as their entry, they can do so then. So submit with care. Submissions should include proof they they are within 1000LY of the final WP (galaxy map showing current system and WP system - second tab) and distance. And full system map with planet details showing. Additional screenshots optional.

Closing date: 30/06/17

Prize: A single Ship kit, outfit, paintjob not exceeding 600 roubles or 3.50 euro.

Winner will be decided by either myself or a guest judge (i might participate but won't be eledgible to win of course). In case of several good planets being presented that its hard to determine which is more suitable, distance to final WP will be the deciding factor.

Yeah, a landeable moon nearby would have been great.

However, worse is that this ELW looks (almost) exactly like one (ore perhaps even two) "High Metal Content" worlds I ignored on my way here. [knocked out]

Well, that just means I can spend a relaxed evening retracing my steps in the galaxy map so I can hit that system on the way back. And then find out it really was a HMC

As for a landable moon: nice for our ships, but useless for the fish we want to drop :p

Nice find, that close to WP5! Guess everybody missed that because we thought it would have been claimed already.

I've been on board on CMDR Thudpucker's ship, and that is certainly an ELW with a moon in tight, scenic orbit. Gets my vote!

Edit: and the ELW features large oceans / low landmass, so it is an ideal place for our passengers.

They could do if no suitable earthlikes have been found, but i think at least one has, if not more.

Also, in case anyone hasn't been following the Discord, competition finishes 23rd now to allow people to return sooner.
