Tried re-logging a few times for mining missions back a few versions but found it to be very boring so stopped.
.
Switched to solo a couple of times to get a landing pad at an outpost.
.
I think that is it...

I'll go first:

- Just after release I exploited the fact that you could get 'Source Slaves' missions at stations that sold slaves, to get my Sirius permit in Avik.
- I have done plenty of relogging to get Meta-Alloys.
- I mode switched to get Modular terminals for Quent.
- I have probably mode switched to get long range smugling missions from Maia(Not quite sure about this one).

Definition of exploit: If you think it may not have been intended by the devs to work in the way you used it. It's a possible exploit.

Wow, SO MANY people are under the impression that cheating is OK, which it isn't. players Relogging, using exploits etc should be perma banned.

What do I need to do to clear myself from this sin?

And I've broken a ceasefire in a CZ just so I could fulfil my kill-contract. At least 5 times.

Usually I will play as it is meant to be played, but if I need quick rebuy cash, I will mode switch, just like seemingly lots of you. Also if the old Tun ranking thing counts, I did that.

I get the idea of banning people who use exploits, I really do. But wow! You're seriously suggesting that logging out of the game and logging back in again should result in a permanent ban?

You haven't really thought this through, have you?

Are you for real ? Relogging is immersion breaking but by no stretch could it be considered an cheat. It has been in the game since the start, FDev have known this for a long time and have done nothing to stop it.

I have done the Robigo/Sothis runs when they were first discovered. That's about it. I was also in 17 draconis but I did the missions the legit way by going into CZs alone, went off when I noticed that there's actually a player group which got its BGS screwed over because of these missions.

I exploited the predictability of these kinds of "you too" threads by predicting it and then pretending the prediction was something extraordinary. Cheating is predictable, leveling is as well.
