Heh, well to be fair it's winding up what has probably been the most drawn out tease in gaming. And we're still not there yet [big grin]

And there's still stuff to unpick in the various logs found, methinks.. where is the survey ship Pandora?


*Edit: And is there an alien signal to be found in the comms installations?

Pacing is a fine art.
Months of nothing much and then the big reveal solved in a few hours doesn't seem quite right.
But hey, hopefully the site itself is interesting enough to keep us busy for a while.

Use a UA or UP to open the doors.

Also ive shot and killed a bunch of scavengers (im so sorry... cute little buggers) but they drop some new mats AND they also shoot at you. There weapon is crap though. 1v1 on a skimmer and a scav? Skimmer will win

Okay, I've not played Elite in three weeks, but I'll be logging on tonight! :D


That base looks incredible from the pics I've seen so far, there's no missing that from orbit!

Just thinking out loud but those doors could be locked for a reason. We could be breaking in to a thargoid prison and releasing a hive of scum and villainy.

Indeed, both UA and UP are able to open the Alien Settlement Door, now I say: that seems to strengthen my thoughts about them being Alien and not human...
why a human made device should be able to act as a key for a Thargoid structure? ;)

or maybe worse: there is a thargoids military weapon .. so deadly that they decided to lock it. (aka prometeus in elite dangerous)
