As you play on big TVs?

Colleagues tell me please.
I have a 46 inch TV. I almost can't see the text on the screen in the game ED. I not found in settings how to make a zoom. How do you play?
Is there a way to fix it? What you tell?
PS No need to laugh, and write to wear glasses, etc is actually very small font.

Sorry, but the text is not that small. I wear glasses and the text on my 43" screen is very much readable, so I would suggest the glasses *are* actually needed. This is no laughing matter, damaging your eyes by straining them is not a good thing (I know, that's *why* I wear glasses nowadays)

My eyesight is terrible rubbish and I wear glasses too but on my 43inch 4k HDR TV with PS4 Pro even the smallest txt is totally legible I don't even have to do that thing where you squint through your glasses (you know what I'm on about).

I play on a 55 inch LED which is suspended from the ceiling as I like playing while lying down. I actually dont have a choice as Im disabled and cant tolerate normal sitting positions fer more than 30 minutes at a time before the pain becomes intolerable. Sounds like yer refresh rate (mhz) which has to be changed on yer tv settings and confirmed on yer xbone settings. Im assuming its the same fer both considering one had to do the same on the pc too...3 platforms, same issue go figure ^

Activate the Zoom functionality in the Accessibility option of your PS4 and zoom with the PS and square button. Works in any game btw.

I also wear glasses, and even they don't help, I have to walk to the TV to read.
This issue affects the main screen in flight. When you choose missions, market and etc., the font slightly bigger and the text visible, but I would like the font bigger.
was very surprised that there is No zoom feature fonts.

I play on a 40" TV that's up on the wall about 8 feet away from the couch I sit/lounge on while playing. Personally I don't have any trouble reading the ED text, but I will say I think it's the smallest text I've seen on any of the games I play on PS4.

Size of the TV doesn't matter without the distance info, gentlemen. How far is your TV? And I must say when I switch from projector to TV, it's a bit disturbing. Texts are simple and predictable though, I just scan most of them.
I'm playing on 48" 2.5 metres away or 175'' screen 2m away.

I have really good eyesight and a 40" TV LCD Sony Brava that is roughly 8' away from me, and the text is a little small. I can read it but only because I know what it says from playing the game for such a long time. If I was new to the game and had to read the text then yes it could be a strain on the eyes.

If you're having problems with reading the text please submit a support ticket at https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/ with a screenshot or a photo of the screen if possible. It should be fairly easy to read on a 46" screen, are you able to see text more clearly in the pause menu at all?

Colleagues. Thank You for the answers, but I do not see a solution to my problem. My TV at a distance of 3-3,5 meters from me.

In the pause menu I have very much to strain your eyes to see the menu item.

There's your problem, you're too far away. 2 metres is the optimum distance.

I agree, the same thing applies when going to a movie theator. One sits where one gets the best view. Go to walmart or other, place yourself from the various sized tv's at the same distance you will set it up at home. If you have to move your head to view the screen it's too big, if you observe the area outside of the tv view like walls and such it's to small. The optimum distance allows one to view the entire screen without moving your head around not the area beyond your screen. I have a 32in 36 inches away from my seated position when I play. At that distance I can view the entire screen in a glance and nothing else.

Agreed, I've set things up so I can sit about 1.5m away. I could sit closer, as the screen doesn't fill my vision completely, but I wouldn't want to try playing from 3.5m away (which is where my couch is compared to my tv. I have a kitchen chair plus laptop table for my PS4 gaming)

Oh well. Where you have seen at least one game on PS4 where you have to sit no more than 1.5 m ??? This I believe is wrong!

I'll be home and measure the distance more accurately. Maybe not 3 meters. I began to doubt.

Well strange that a few people have said they have no problem from around 2 metres while you are further away and have a problem...

55" 1080p (it's capable of HD but my framerate drops when I use higher resolutions with my old 970GTX). Viewing distance is about 2 m.

I play on a LG 62" HDTV 1080p that is 3D capable..... I have no problem reading the text from 3-6 meters away and I am as blind as a bat.......
