At the old site last night, the UL's were invisible. it was a bug that a relog fixed. Just don't forget your UP!
I think it's very likely that all 3 systems will have a large wreck. We need to find the other two. Has anyone been able to activate this newest one? Is the sound the same?
If so, there's not a lot we can do here that hasn't already been done.

Alternatively we might be seeing selective pressure/survival of the fittest like in bacteria where only some make the cut and gain immunity or resistance? The dead ones may truly be dead or so dormant as to not make a real difference and the drones may just be the last vestiges of some kind of large scale goid immune system. It seems reasonable to assume they made the bases as they are the only functional mobile aspect and seem deep in some kind of task of building ( or whatever).
Goids seem to be big, maybe their internal systems are equally big?
I can say its an active one. The room where the device is, is surrounded with a couple of doors. But sadly i have to say it seems there is no new data here. His behavior is the same like the one in HIP 14909. Same results after scanning.
But this base is in a better shape as the other one in HIP 14909

However, there was one system next the A-class stars, and took a short detour. Here's the system maps below where the UL was pointing it's dish (in the presence of the UA) roughly at:
HIP 14758 - nothing special, did a flyby within 1000ls of all planets.
HIP 14956 - Could be promising, looks like an Ammonia Gas Giant near the end of the chain, I'll check it out.
HIP 15284 - Nothing Ammonia at all in this system, but there are water worlds and some landable moons.
SYNUEFE MK-M D8-32 - This looks to be the most promising out of the lot, looks like an Ammonia Gas Giant at the end of the chain. Will check it out.

Holy cow I'm pretty sure these structures are gateways that will allow us to jump to other active ones. Eventually I think we will get to put in cords to something like that locked system the UP points to!

Can someone clarify? Is the new structure found a result of solving the spectrograph from the other live site? Is there other systems to check? I am going to jump on after lunch
Tried to feed the scan results to UL in space and see if new data-groups in recording?
Of note, the internal doors don't require an unknown item in the hold.. they just open.
Given the state of this sans-collapses... my money is that the scavenger drones definitely aren't repairing these ships, but salvaging them. It would make sense that, if they are taking bits away, some sections would collapse.
No proof, just my 40c.

Agree, the bigger 4 "eggish" structures round the center have a different orientation as in HIP 14909. Interesting !
I am still not convinced this is an alien wreck or site, it still looks like the Stage 2 of a Barnacle.
Yep. If this is a ship then I'm certainly not sure whether we look at the front or rear. Hell, I'm not even sure whether it's the up or the downside.
