EDIT: Goddammit everyone stop finding new things! :D

Original post:

So the prediction is that the three messages obtained from the new unknown device should be played to a UL as before, and its responses transcribed.

Expectation: new numbers obtained leading to new location(s).

Possible outcomes:
1) Same numbers as before -> Interpretation: those three groups of numbers are important, and therefore the original three locations from the UL are more important than those of the original wrecks.
2) New numbers which lead *back* to one or more of the sites which were already known. Interpretation -> not surprising, just disappointing :(
3) New numbers which lead to one or more new systems. Interpretation -> one of those should have another wreck. And, possibly, one which is even less decrepit than all others seen so far.

Or, of course, it might not work at all and we get nothing new.

Meanwhile, there are the other two systems identified from the previous UL msg to be scoured.

HIP 14909

Perhaps it's needed to be done close to the planet, and the UL points to the Settlement itself?

Maybe it needs to be done in each of the systems on the spectrogram also? Bottom would be the HIP system, then Merope, and whichever the right side is. They could triangulate the top location.

HOLD ON A MINUTE! My friend and I jettisoned all 3 of them together in the HIP 14909 Distress Call yesterday and played the hive signal to them and they did nothing... what's different here? Maybe they need to be in close proximity? Maybe the PP server downtime added something?

Please explain why ;)
Don't let me assume where does this system name come from, don't you? ;)

Look at the system layout in eddb or edsm and on the graphics extracted from the sounds....

The system exactly matches the system in the graphics.

Exactly 1 central star
9 planets, 2 of them orbiting each other (5th)
No Belts
No Rings

Ciao, Udo

This guy right here! UP did nothing when we honked it before. But right after a down time...

It points to the bottom portion of the formidine rift area, maybe not as far, but I was searching last night trying to triangulate a linear path it points to and it's definite in that direction.

can someone please check if it points to "Nyuena WE-Z c45". Thanks.
Given that system is above the middle of the galactic core, and in the background of the video you can see the core and see the beam pointing in the other direction ... I'm going to take a wild guess at no.

It doesn't match exactly - the fifth planet is a moon ("5 a") not co-orbiting. On the other parts of the diagram, moons have been noticeably off the line whereas co-orbiting planets have been on the same line.

That's ok, but I bet there are at least, don't know, how many? Another thousand systems with the same configuration?

Indeed, I know of other tests done with the three items and that did not happened, apart from the spectrogram sound...

We are missing something: more data are needed I guess...
