Some sadoes on a dad-game forum? Who cares?
Sad? More like clinically depressed at the thought of how expensive and stressful its been gettin through the first 15 years of her misery inducing existence. I wont even be remotely tearful to see her find a guy...or girl I wont judge...falls in love and leaves me to enjoy what few years one has left that might actually matter.
Who knows? I might even get to live long enough to be at the point of the xmas and new years twice a year phone call that she gets guilted into making after watching some sappy xmas movie with her ungrateful brat brood.
As much as I love a little bit of everything when it comes to my love life, I gotta say how different would things have been if Id been a guys only guy...women are my greatest weakness in life...as well as raspberry ruffles...

I hope they tell us soon exactly what these 'core improvements' will be. They must know what they are or will be working on. So why not tell us?
To be honest, I don't think they actually have an actual plan for those core improvements. If any, because I don't believe that doing these core improvements at this time was part of the their original plan. Not saying its not a good idea to do it, as the core game most definitively needs improvements if this game is ever to reach its potential (as in the game Braben talks about during interviews).
I think they noticed that their previous strategy "throw more hollow features at the game" was not working out so well, and changed the strategy. Also, seeing the lead designer speak of something like atmospheric landings as something that "they could do", when before it was a certainty, leads me to believe that at this time development doesn't really has a long term plan.
That's Conan Exiles isn't it?Oh dear PvPers vs PvEers, playing the who has the bigger game...
Uhmm... I do not want PvP at all (not for myself, but I do not want it removed from the game).
But... I do want a good karma system.
I hope the Karma system also will affect me as a solo player in an interesting way.
Uhmm... I am currently not very interested in Open PvE either.
But perhaps I would start playing in Open if there was an Open PvE mode. I can't tell now.
For me it is not just the PvP that doesn't interest me. I am not particularly interested in having other people in my games at all. I do not need coop gameplay either for example.
I also am not interested in all the incredibly uninteresting conversations about where I am from, where they are from, how long they have been playing, How long I have been playing etc. I have been there and done that and it scares me.
I dread that even more than true PvP to be honest. I'd rather have them shoot me with lasers than with words.
Is that so? Wow...we have a mind reader with us today.
Id love an open pve mode...but I dont want to see open pvp destroyed, Id like to see it developed to mean more than having bragging rights...as in actually have a point. I might even like to learn how some day maybe but against pvp entirely? Yer very quick to judge and wrongly so.
Realistically, an open pve mode will almost certainly never exist...its a pipe dream. I do very much want the karma system in place asap because I also very much want to see pvp being meaningful and fun...the way the sales pitch at the start made it sound ironically enough. One stays in solo and ignores the pvp aspect...not hiding from it, ignoring it...theres a difference that many seem to be confused about...not because I dont wanna see it in the game at all, but because in its current form, it doesnt appeal to me as it has no point, no purpose.
Im hoping that karma will refocus efforts on giving it a point. If it fails then realistically nothing changes in terms of gameplay fer players like me past how it affects us with regards to how karma affects the bgs. One plays in solo now, although Im in open around jacques most the time Im there so karma fails...nothing changes. Not fer me anyway, but open players might notice a thing or two...time will tell the tale before yer fortune telling ability will ^

That is certainly the impression that a lot of Sandro's comments over the past year have given: that there is no concrete long term plan but rather an update to update plan. It would explain all of the secrecy around the roadmap (it might not exist) and the disappearance of the sneak peaks in the in the newsletters (there might not be much of anything in development to show).

Eh, never say never. If Frontier implements a meaningful C&P system that improves bounty hunting so that players can actually track and attack player criminals, then we'd see some meaningful PvP gameplay and action ensuing. And CQC has the potential to be a great PvP feature, Frontier just needs to improve it beyond what it currently is.
It's possible, it just requires development.
They didn't say atmospheric landings is something they could do, they said landings on planets that are like earth (in terms of population, cities and vegetation) is something they could do. People always want them to communicate more but can't be bothered to listen / read properly...![]()
I don't really have an opinion on how detailed Frontier's development roadmap might be. But wouldn't atmospheric landing be a firm requirement for landing on a planet with Earth-like levels of vegetation?
How do you reach a player with a bounty if they refuse to play in Open with it? The devs have been reluctant to force people with bounties into Open...so there is really no way to track or kill players with bounties. This just solidifies the idea that PVP is a sideshow in the game...and the only PVP that matters is the outcollection of PVE trophies by competing PVE groups.
Yeah but it's the other way round. The answer implied that 'earth-likes is something we could do'. Naturally a regular Venus or present-day Mars-like would come before, and are probably not off the table. ie This quote is not evidence that they aren't coming.
Lock the evil doers into Open and make their marker show up on all players gal map. Give bounty hunters the ability to lock onto their signals on the map, guaranteeing that they are instanced with the villain
