People in the Elite universe have a strange idea of comfort!

Think I'd have more comfort on a sofa than a land mine!

not to mentioning demanding several tonnes of kitchen appliances when on a luxury cruise. I mean, im pretty sure the luxury suites are well equipped.

Allthough...land mines?

Steve, Steve, Steve. Are you not aware that Blake Banks used to clear mine fields for a living, hence he needs that comfort back in his life. Pfff

:p :p :p

seems that they haven`t learned much in the last 30 years :(

It never ceases to make me laugh when certain people boast about stellar forge, and how scientifically accurate it supposedly is (despite the myriad of dumb errors/inaccuracies clearly visible in the galaxy map) when we have so many major errors in basic stuff like this...

I've posted about the exact same thing before. Maybe he wants to use them as throw pillows?

As I've also mentioned before, what I think is meant by these requests is that the passenger wants to sell the goods at a profit, thereby becoming more comfortably off, ie. richer. If so, this is a really silly way to put it and it should be changed to something less ambiguous. There are a few other examples of very clumsy phrasing in the game, but that's for another thread.

I had someone ask me for a large quantity of Domestic appliances to make her journey more comfortable.
When we docked up at the next system, I gave her a Bad Dragon gift voucher and told her to pick out some "Domestic Appliances" herself.

Had two different passengers ask for beer and toxic waste. Bet that was hell of a party they had whilst I was running the ship flying them around!
