Why are things like Sophis runs dead, while you can pick up a few passengers from the right terminal and run them around the home solar system for millions. Why do you keep holding us back in one respect then make a way of earning money fast that you then clamber to fix and patch to stop abuse? I used to love taking a trek out to sophis, why do you insist we play how you want us to play? Why can't we get better rewards and jobs without having to jump from open to closed sessions to refresh the mission boards, some variety to the missions at stations would be nice, where if you have a reputation of mud you can still always find a mission, not find somewhere where you literally have no jobs you can do or it's just 1 faction at the station that has jobs but you need a reputation 4 levels above what you have to be able to do them... I changed from Xbox to pc, they offered me to scrap all my ships on xbox and they will give me the money on my pc account, so I can either grind for weeks and months to get back to where I was financially or destroy everything I worked for on the xbox, if you have a problem with the Quince exploits then let us do legit and decent things like sophis runs again, make other things worth the effort, I love to mine but it's not worth the time and effort, unless I have a python the reward is just not worth the time investment. We need more Painite and less crap, more money less grind, I don't want to be playing for 2 years to get a ship I want, so I can enjoy the game how I want to play...

Actually just letting me know it was xbox helped... looks like this is still happening but only on console.

We're working on getting the fix to those platforms as soon as possible.

You know you poison and most likely destroy fun in a journey rushing to one specific ship right?

Why?

I disagree that achieving a great result quickly should be considered any less of a fun/valid journey than doing the same thing inefficiently or slowly or haphazardly.

I have never had so much fun in Elite Dangerous as after I got both my fully tricked out Vulture and Anaconda. I am LOVING the game in a whole new way.

My advice to anyone that wants a specific ship: Get it as fast as you can, then do what you want with it. Taking more time than required to do it adds nothing to the experience. It just wastes your time, and prevents you from doing what you want in the game. I am telling you, I don't have any less enjoyment playing Elite Dangerous because I have the ships I want, or because got them quickly. Quite the contrary, Elite Dangerous has never been more fun for me than it is right now because I rushed and got the ships that I wanted.

If you enjoy taking 10x the time necessary to get an Anaconda, go ahead and do that. I will be piloting my fully engineered Annie around the galaxy while you take the long way round...
 
Thank you for keepin the promise made in 84 when I bought my first Commodore 64 and loaded Elite on Cassette player. :D

Now you're stretching the truth - it was the 1541 Floppy Drive, admit it! Granted, it was almost as slow as a cassette player...

Great! This was starting to annoy me a little, and also would give a bad impression of Elite Dangerous to all the new PS4 players.

Various mission tweaks and fixes.
A bit more detail would have been nice here. It leaves me hoping you've fixed the lack of planet surface missions since 2.3, even though it's probably a much bigger fix than the "tweaks and fixes" was probably intended to suggest. edit: Yeah, the bug isn't fixed :(

LOL! Yeah, it was kind'a confusing with some of the greetings. Thanks for the explanation. Just overworked with all the new PS4 commanders added. And probably too much Lave Java.
 
So air traffic controllers got fixed to not blurt out some inconsequential audio but Y-Dwarf stars are all still putting out purple light when they dont get hot enough to put out any visible light.

Not only does the Y-Dwarf issue not make any sense at all, it directly conflicts with a large part of the Elite lore of "dark systems". < deleted censored acronym >

Well indeed I bought my C64 used to a friend and the nice 1541 IEEE Drive was faulty and it took over 2 month to get it serviced an back.
So I started play ELite on my 36cm TV with datassete (Load $4, enter => press play on the cassette)

And believe me, I was happy when getting the 1541 Drive (And Elite had been the only game I had on Cassette) ;)
 
Since today and this patch I have disconnects every single jump! I am out near Omega Mining so it can't be too much traffic can it?
 
Hey, the falling skimmers are fun to watch, I think its funny, like they are greeting us as we are landing by falling outta the sky and bouncing off the surface
