Atari bankruptcy

What will happen with RCT4?? Atari is in bankrupt!

Hi, atari is un bankrupt, and then the rct4 wont be do, my questions is if are thinking really to do this game in a short time or a game like this but better, the fans are really waiting for this for a years! Coaster Crazy is a good game but when the people play one month , the game become bored, there ara milions of fans waiting for a excellent, realistic Theme park game like Rct's saga
Please, don't forguet the milions of fans that the Roller Coaster Tycoon Saga has got, we believe in you because you really listen your public

thanks :)

Atari has quite good survival statistics at bankruptcies. Hopefully they will be bought again... like the last 2 times... and some other company will pay for finishing the games Atari has in the loop for the moment. :)

Quite surprised myself, another big name gone.

Theirs another thread on the same subject so I'll merge them to keep things tidy :D

The subsidiary (Atari Inc.) entered the plea in federal court in New York on Sunday with the aim of obtaining independent capital to focus on digital and mobile games.

The company expects to sell within 90 to 120 days the majority or all of its assets, including the rights of the most famous games, according to the note.

In recent years, Atari Inc. has changed its business model from the traditional video game platforms based digital games the most famous brands of the entity, such as Pong, Asteroids or Centipede.

With all this I can only think that we are closer to the ''mythical'' RCT4. ;)

Frontier are the developers of the RCT saga for PC, would be a very good idea that they buy the license and develop a RCT4 through ideas that Atari asked. A light of hope for this great game that fans million we are asking for, now is the time, now!

Exact. We hope to have that it happens, but Frontier to buy the license of RCT would be good, since it is a company that usually develop good games through what the fans want. :)

The Atari we are talking about is not the same company that released the classic consoles and computers. When that company went bust, Infogrames, the French software company bought the right to the name only. Its no more than a label.

The original Atari company has not existed for many years now, and as an old time Atari computer fan I don't give a toss what happens to Atari/Infogrames.

It doesn't matter to me, what I want is that the RCT license sold to Frontier and develops a RCT4.
