Does Quince still work?

Hi does the mission stacking at Quince still work? How do i get the missions to appear as my explorer level is very low or does this even matter?

Did some the other day. Wasn't all that good though, lots of logging in and out and the payouts were a bit meh.
I earn more in the same time at Wu Guinagi, taking the scans for hip10716 from Bose and Camm. No need to log in and out all the time, either.

Why exploit, jk it's the only way to make money for endgame players I have tons pesky engineer data and I'm probably king by now since its an imperial system

Yes still working. Need to be allied to pay well. Take two missions, then refresh until you get a stack of them. Often get the max 20. Pay is between 1 and 3mil per mission. So around 30mil a trip taking about 20min.

I was there a week ago for exceptional scrambled emission data... The cash was just a bonus.

I did the same a few weeks ago, but I was on the hunt for Modified Consumer Firmware.

I was in Wu Guinagi yesterday. Took three passenger missions, all to two stations in the same system 98LY away.

3 x economy passengers - 5.73m credits
5 x economy passengers - 6.79m credits
3 x first class passengers - 9.7m credits

3 jumps, total mission time 10 minutes, earnings 22.2m

How do you get your rank up to be allied to get more of these missions?

How do i become Allied? Really trying to get back into this after along break :)

Also what ship are people using? Seems there are 2 ways to make money in Quince, either passenger missions or surface scans. Is one better than the other?

Loli bet your one of those people who made loads of cash here and know wants it closed so you can feel all superior etc
Just for the record i have all the ships and over a billion credits, so i made my millions years ago just to let you know. Ive been around these forums alongtime, (7 years) longer than 99% of people around so im no nOOb even though my post count is low.

I glanced at my glorious him system last night only to see my minor faction I once again at war with some imperial scum group, no doubt to help some cash cow get fatter.

To get allied, just do the missions that are offered and dump cash on any charity missions. Exploration rank also counts a lot here! The higher the better. I use a small ship for surface scan missions, a DBX with an SRV is fine. Mine has a 50+ly range so it's quick to get to Quince as well. The stacked missions mean it's easier to get the data types you are after from the scanned data points.

As for which pays more. Not sure as I've not compared them but my hunch is the scan missions as these can still be obtained in quantity, despite the 3 mission limit due to the number of factions available there. I was only there for data from the scan missions though. But fwiw, Just take 2 missions, then refresh until you get a lot of them, then just take the lot! Usually only a couple of board refreshes. I've got over 3bil credits in game so the cash from this is irrelevant to me, hence I didn't pay it much attention when I was there last.

Does the background simulation side actually work now? Does it actually change if enough players force it to change? im not talking about community goals here by the way.

This is good information. To often this is left out of the "Get Rich Quick" videos.

Two answers: Depends and Yes. How well the background simulation works is very much a matter of personal experience and bias. Can players force change? Oh yes and they have.
