Only if you listen to those who, for some odd reason, want it to be.
That would be those who can only see a game succeeding if it adheres to their personal wishes and idiosyncrasies, because they think they are the measure of all things.

Regular measurements of ED stats show player login at very different times and actually are very spread out over whole week. There's estimate about 100k players playing on weekly basis on PC alone.
Also Milky Way galaxy is just huge.

Please prove what you are saying: mostly interested in the 100K players (which is 10% of units sold).
Also: no one is doubtfull about Fd being in an healthy situation and, trust me, I am very happy for all the workers there and of course for their Ceo, DB.
What I am saying is that there is no correlation beetwen copies sold and game's health. And, especially about this second poitn, that the trend of player playing is quite going down at least judging by steam charts and what I read here in the forum.
It would be nice if Db showed somethin that concern this community (game improvment) instead that something about FD.
Closing just saying that selling so many copies of a game is a very great goal and without doubt they have reason to be proud.
I am happy for them: much less than me...
ED sold 2.75 million copies in total, 1.000.000 on steam and ~ 100.000 players are actively playing on steam (logging in more than once in 2 weeks), which is quite healthy and comparable to other MMOs when we talk about active players / sold units.
The 4000 people you talk about are just those who are currently online, you need to understand that not everyone who plays the game is running it 24/7. I know, it sounds crazy.
BTW I am pretty sure that I explained that to you before.
well I enjoyed it, and thought it was worth every penny.I dont see much evidence.
A lot of people paid to watch the film Avatar even though it wasn't very good.
While I am not the bringer of the Truth but:
Peak concurrent players yesterday: 5,541
= 5541*14=
While I am not the bringer of the Truth but:
Peak concurrent players yesterday: 5,541
= 5541*14=
Players in the last 2 weeks: 77,698 ± 7,622 (7.29%)
At the end:
Ed is played usually by 5500 players.
Unless I am reading something wrong here - which could be - 5500 player is almost coherent with steamchart result
And from a game who has sold so many copies that should be a truly alarm sign to Fd: in my opinion it reflects player leaving the game for reason are well known

Apologies for going off topic a bit.

yes Babelfish: I have read it in your last post.
No, you don't understand. 5500 was the amount of concurrent players (=players being online at the same time at a specific moment), 80.000 are unique players which played the game at least once during the last two weeks = current active player base on one platform. The real numbers are more close to 200.000-300.000 (estimated) active players.
The game died so many times, maybe it's a reincarnation of Agrajag?
Additionally, this is a game without a subscription model, allowing a casual play style unusual to MMOs. Closer to big updates, I'm sure the number of players doubles.

This figure only includes copies of the game.
