I fully expect them to examine what ED is bringing out in the 2.4 update and swiftly put together a very nice video showing that SC will have the same but with much more fidelity.
Of that I have no doubt.
It'll be followed a week later by the "Road to Lulzbucketry" documentary where Genuine Roberts waves his hands, puts his feet up on the table, and explains during a crisis meeting that they had to drop a few features because the animations weren't quite there, and that it would be unfair to the backers to release a sub-par product, and he's had a new Vision that includes base-building in Middle Earth.
Then we'll cut to scenes of various friendly devs happily talking about how they are building revolutionary things that are completely part of the core game, that they are not tech demos or on-rails experiences for display and marketing purposes only.
We'll go to Famous Actor and Developer Ben Lenslock, who explains in excruciating detail that CIG are working on something called a "button" - then the audio cuts out for fifteen minutes.
Closeup on the Handbag.
Ben Lenslock is back. Still no audio.
Genuine Roberts appears again and announces they need to pull the intended demo because it's on-rails for marketing purposes and won't appear in-game, so they'll just offer up a new ship sale because "that is what the backers truly want!"
Erin goes to the pub. Documentary ends.
