I believe it was the "famous" AMD citizen-bundle pack from 2015 and it was including R9 380/390 GPU´s....with some in game detail-tweaking this cards are still strong enough to push SC beyond fidelity-border and can provide you glorious 20 FPS all day long!!!

One of the technological advances at this year's Gamescom was the frame rate. I'm pretty sure it broke the 15 FPS barrier a couple of times.

I'm another £23 investor. While a lot more expensive than free, it does give me the opportunity to log in to the game and have a private giggle about how truly, groundbreakingly, mind-numbingly awful it currently is. The only goodish bit is the graphics. I'm willing to leave my £23 at risk for now, although I don't expect to see 3.0 this year unless they cut back even more on its features. Unlike all those people arguing about whether development started in 2012 or 2014, I don't believe development has started at all yet. They're still working on prototypes.

I only had $50 or so riding on this when I asked for a refund. For me it was nothing to do with the money, it was the principle. Did I want to continue supporting a company that conducts itself the way that CIG conducts itself? Why should I condone their CEO getting on stage and outright lying about what they are able to do? If I condone that behaviour I am willingly asking to be taken for a ride.

"continue supporting" for me, you only continue supporting if you're still spending money on their "ships" & stuff. If, like me, you've made that original donation (for me back during the kickstarter) and not made any further purchases, then you're not "continuing" to support them.

But this is just an opinion, and your opinion is valid too. If you want your $50 back, then of course you should have it.

When I say continue supporting I just mean having your money in their coffers, not continuously giving them money.

Yes, same here. I also only had $70, but the game it became i would not have backed. I don't see any sign of sq42, so that's it for me.

I got that, which is why I said "for me" as I realised your definition was different to mine, and yours is a valid definition too. :)

I totally understand ALL of you guys/girls who ask for the refund I am sure I l´do the same if I was "deeper" in this .....however as I am "only"(60€)in it and I love to try&experience things personally before I judge them I think I will still stick to my pledge, also like this I can continue to criticize CIG and point for their various mistakes from the backer standpoint of view......

Well I was addressing this.

That strikes me more as a statement than an opinion :) But whatever, it really doesn't matter.

Ha! I bet the game will track player's hygiene with never done before physical fidelity and it'll condition player's charisma, dialogue choices and quest opportunities. Soon, RSI store will provide large choice of shampoos, perfumes, toothpastes (in physical and virtual forms). Prepare for in-game job opportunities in dentist, hair stylist careers.

My £23 is still in, I'm still hoping for a game at some point and £23 is cheap indie game money so it doesn't need to be the best ever.

Any more and I'd probably be out by now. Kickstarter in general has been a disappointment, despite some successes (and I include elite dangerous in those, it's not perfect but it's a released game, and I like it)
