Seems Thargoids are too easy to destroy.

Too many Thargoids have been destroyed already.

Stop holding back and time to ramp up the difficulty Frontier!! I'm sure the Thargoids are capable of so much more!

Given that they are listed as "Scouts" in your statistics panel, I would say there are bigger ones coming. This makes perfect sense, really - navies don't tend to dispatch big ships for individual duty as it leaves them too vulnerable.

I don´t see the point of the AX weapons, to be honest. Why build up a story arc of an emerging threat for months when you hand over the solution almost immediately after it appears? After a collective fetch-the-thing quest, no less.

For the sake of this game and frontier´s reputation I really hope they got something really good in store. Something more engaging than a couple of combat zones with different ships and a community goal to shoot down X of them to win the Thargoid war.
But then, there is the track record and pattern recognition...

Actually they're listed as Interceptors. The Eagle-sized crashed ship that was recently found is a Scout.

All seems to be going a little fast for me. We login 1 day and Goids are everywhere (one minute quite rare next everywhere)...GalNet dosent seem to feel its news worth...Then immediately after the CG ends stations are stocked with anti goid weapons and now we are knocking them down like skittles.

Ive taken a long passenger mission, will return in a few weeks and hope it actually starts making some sense.

'skittles'! I think not! I saw SDC going hell for leather with approdx 10 cmdrs last night, was beyond epic. They did not look easy at all.

And yet they are currently being solo'd

By people with 4 AX missile racks in extreme engineered hull tank ships with loads of hardpoints, and even then almost running out of ammo and taking massive damage themselves.

I recall people saying it was possible to solo a Thargoid in the 1984 Elite, too...

Put it this way, no one is going to do this in a Cobra.

Which is fair enough. But there are a great many fully engineered annies/cutters/vettes out there that can solo these things. I just hope FD have a lot more bigger, harder ships up their sleeves.

Like i said logging on 1 day to an infection of thargoids that came from nowhere, with fully stocked stations full of modules moments after the CG finishes and then then many goids being killed less than a week from patch day, just seems too fast really i dont feel they are as bigger threat or as fascinating as they were before when they had us by the throats.

Bring on the Thargoid cap ships i say :).

The one I encountered last night whilst in my battle conda along with a corvette, fdl and assault ship sure wasnt easy. The corvette was sent running. The fdl and assault ship where popped and I scrambled away with 20% hull and that goid still had 1 heart intact.
The whine festival is defo underway.

What if we're just being given an initial sense of false hope?

These Interceptor ships we're fighting are listed as scouts in the statistics panel....

Yeah, and they aren't considering us much of threat yet. Wings of CMDRs prepare exactly for that fight and hunt down single Thargoid ships.

But once the table turns and groups of them start hunting us, all those "buff" threads will turn to "nerf pls".

Honestly though, the missiles aren't that great. Especially for solo. As the plot develops and more weapons and defences are developed, it's likely destroying interceptors will become "the norm"... and then we'll start seeing things like wings of interceptors and, as mentioned, capital class thargoids.
