For the specific aim of hurting lots of people in close proximity who have been taken by surprise, then bombs are more efficient. However guns are concealable, user friendly, mechanically reliable, easy to obtain (in the US), easy to resupply (in the US), much more precise, have easily available training, they don't degrade as quickly and they work at range.

I can make a bomb anywhere on this planet, mostly, well maybe not in Ireland as they already use all the "good" stuff
It's not that hard.... fill it with some nails, add some toxic chemicals and off you go hell's kitchen.

No, just less simple, therefore less likely.

Non sequitur.
Has nothing to do with your bad numbers nor has that been demonstrated to be the case.

So am i. 5 minutes on the net and you know everything what you must. But! There is a huge difference between what you can do, and what you have / already doing. Again? Your reasoning is bleeds to death.

The problem is the second Amendment. How you get past of that miles thick wall?

I've never understood why the Bill of Rights is held in such high regard. Why are people from the 18th Century more qualified to decide what happens in a country than people today?

After all, if you want to understand the mindset of the time it was written, just look at the third amendment. Don't tell me the bill of rights was written for the modern world.

All you need is accessible in normal stores, again it's not hard to get. If you believe we don't see it becasue it's difficult you're fooling yourselves.

I can say with 1000% certainty, that yes, this can be done in Ireland too. Or in the Vatican, or Montreal or even the middle of London.

Everything you need is right around you, if you know what to look for and where.

Well, let's see... because they were Statesmen, serving The People, not Politicians serving their Corporate Sponsors for one.
They had things that modern society is gravely lacking:
1. A Sense of Honor
2. A Sense of Duty.
3. Work Ethics
4. Humility
5. Morals
6. Convictions (not the sort issued by the Courts)
7. Common Sense

There's 7 qualifiers right there, but I'm sure I can come up with quite a few more if you need more convincing.

No-ones saying it's hard to make bombs, I'm saying guns are easier to get and more reliable.

no it's not, maybe it's just that most people don't feel the need to go around and explode other people to death.

By seeing trough the NRA smokes and mirrors: https://www.brennancenter.org/analysis/how-nra-rewrote-second-amendment

If killing people "ooopsie" to save a few cents can be settled out of court: https://www.cnbc.com/2017/03/14/judge-approves-landmark-remington-rifle-settlement.html
You must get in the point you can do something like this, and attack the whole nonsense in the congress trough voting or in the court. There are a few front lines until than what you must get past.
First of all, the stupid "reasoning" what they using in there to defend themselves and the holy cow. I think it's time to go Full wolverine and start to slice & dice to tear all of it apart.

The fact many owned slaves somewhat challenges most of those.

well what does it matter, if you die from a gun or a bomb? you can't stop it, that is actually the root cause, if you think a law can stop it, well i got a bridge to sell you.

Switzerland got a lot of guns, and you don't see mass murders there, maybe it's the mentality of the people as I said before.

You do realize an AR15's round is actually WEAKER than say an average deer rifle right?
People actually argue that round is cruel to hunt with because it's too small and weak.

You seem misinformed.
You misunderstand me; I couldn't really care less which is more powerful. Having essentially unrestricted access to procure these weapons makes a mockery of the whole issue regardless of how powerful any one particular model is. The prevailing climate of 'never my guns' makes any reasonable discussion on legislation essentially impossible anyway. It's just a shame that people will continue to die because 'my freedom trumps your freedom'.

Well worth a watch(It's a Paul Watson movie be warned, so if you hate him for some political reason then maybe not for you [big grin] )
