Still on the list but not before 2019. (Even in 2019 it will be one or the other imo not both)

You only need to travel to Beagle Point in a Fer-De-Lance and then return + hand in your data to Obsidian Orbital. If enough players do this, we will get both of these things.

True, though using the otherwise slightly odd phrase 'space legs' leads me to think otherwise...

Give them all of the information... you have to fly to Hutton, in normal space, in reverse and in a sidewinder to unlock them.
Sheesh.. half-information is worse than no information.
As much as i would love atmos landings. I agree that the core game needs imrpoving first.
Atmos would be a feature built upon a rocky foundation. So fix the foundation and maybe in 2019 we get atmos.
But im still going to say..... Snail's pace. We all wanted better Exploration mechanics, but we have to wait litterally another year for that.
Non sarcastic answer : Not any time soon. Maybe not even this decade. No one knows for sure, but FDev have repeatedly said, not anytime soon, way way way way off.

The only thing that we know is that FD "would like" to do space legs. As for atmospheric landings, that seems to be closer, but there is no official announcement on them (except by the fact that they said "its coming - but a long way off"). Both are certainly not part of the public roadmap that we know for 2018, and we haven't seen any showcase or direct progress on neither of them. The most optimistic scenario seems to be that Atmospheric Landings would be coming during or after 2019. As for Space Legs, even later. The most pessimistic one seems to be that they will never happen. You can search the forum to see arguments on both sides.
Whatever the case is, most of the information you can find from the Kick Starter campaign seems to be obsolete. So you are in for a long wait, and very likely for a different design than the one we been told in the early videos.
