Robigo is dead :(

Over two days Iv made multiple visits and mode switched probably 50 times. The mission board is completely empty... the only thing available are a few long range passenger missions.

I was hoping to do some smuggling, even at a reduced rate, but nope nothing. I'm allied with both factions.

I hope its not nerfed coz Robigo was actually fun and in my eyes legit all the way - there was a risk involved, at least when I was there last.

Since you are out there, check the Sirius stations closer to the bubble. Almagast/Takurua/HIP8396

Robigo was my favorite thing to do in this game. They pretty much killed it in 2.1. You can thank the

Wasn't robigo already dead?

Also, can anyone confirm these other stations have anything, save me the journey if their empty.

Dead in the sense that those huge payout/ fail on scan chases back to bubble are no more. You could still get missions out of Robigo, I wouldn't bother with the Sirius stations unless you are in the neighbourhood. I haven't been out there for over a year.

Out here in the black there is no much that makes me want to return but I would return for the thrill of those smuggling runs. Dust off my old cobra load up with contraband, engage silent running..... I wish there were a version of silent running in supercruise.

Was so much fun. Unfortunately Cmdrs selling cargo back to the market caused the devs to shut the whole thing down, the fail on scan also needed a bit of work. A huge amount of potential for smuggling gameplay, just needed tweaking... It's a shame exploiters have to ruin things.

fdev should kill all relogo exploits.
Kudos for them when they do.

If you mean selling slaves back to the station, that was an exploit yes. If you mean running for your life to earn the same as big ships in an Asp, honestly, I consider that balanced due to risk vs reward.

It was pretty cool that the runs where not just restricted to slave hauling, you could also free slaves, also the usual narcotic runs.

But you sold them for more than the mission paid. Missions, as far as I'm aware, should always pay more than the bulk cargo, so I consider that a definite exploit, as that's a broken game mechanic.

Hence the expliot, not something myself and many others ever did. Pretty much the same as most other exploits, you have guys sitting there mode switching and selling cargo back to the station, pretty much all the devs had to fix, that particular exploit only got fixed 2 years later with 2.4 :-/

They did stop the abandon/sell back. Black market sales don't effect your rep so much now. If you do it more than a few times you will end up with hostile rep = no missions/landing rights.

I had no idea it was a thing? Stopped after the scan=failed missions were removed. We now have passenger missions for dangerous smuggling, and god knows what for the the gimme-more-fake-money-dont-take-my-fun-please-nerf-AI-and-remove-insurance-fetishists. :p

Is there an acronym for the term you just used?
