Passanger misions

This is mostly pointed at bigger ships. Anaconda/beluga owners. When you do transport missions and mission stacking. Do you usually just sit at a station and board roll? ... Currently im doing them in my python but i would love to be doing them in an anaconda. I sometimes spend 30-45 minutes filling up my python but that is between 1 station and 2 outposts. If i was to go to an anaconda/beluga i would only be able to do the one station. Thoughts/advice?

Or do you multi system hop looking for multiple missions go to the same system ... (Aka System A sends you to system C ... so you check system B for missions to C as well)

I sit at the station and board roll. In the time it takes for me to cruise from station to station and land, I could just do something less tedious while I wait for the boards to refresh where I'm at. I can only take off and land so many times before I need to close ED and give my soul some time to uncrush itself.

I grab all the available missions, flip the board, grab the rest, then take off. I dont wait for a refresh of the board, I would rather just move on to the destination(s) I chose and see what pops up there heading back to the previous station. I usually run missions from 2 or 3 systems.

Board refresh is what .. 10 minutes?

I guess? It feels shorter. Oftentimes after I've gone through solo, open and two private groups, solo has refreshed by the time I come back around. It's also not unusual for new missions to fill in for the ones you've already accepted either. On a good day, with allied for most factions, I can fill an Anaconda with economy passengers in 2-3 cycles. On a slow day it takes a few more so I'll just play Rimworld in the background for a few minutes or something.

I only take one way. The creds for the way back are nothing so its way worth it for me to spend the time board flipping. Was just seeing how others do it

Pretty sure it only changes between Solo/Open/any private grp. (I dont think you can hop into multiple private groups and get multiple boards)

I fly my Econo-Conda carrying a Full Passenger load from Station A to Station B.
Then check for anything going back to Station A, but I don't wait.

Station B is 30k+ Ls from the Jump In Point.

I keep my Battle-Vette at Station B, as there is a HasRes in this System.
I'm currently turning in Bounties at Station B to boost my Local Rep at Station B.
I fly out to Battle when running Passenger Missions become too blurry...

The Problem with setting up a Multi Hop Passenger Rout is that you would need to Boost Rep in All Station/Systems where you want to Pick Up Passengers, to get the most Bang for your Buck (Time)...

I haven't found that to be the case. What I have found to be the case though is that it (seemingly) varies by station. In Rhea, for example, I would always have different missions from private group to private group. Where I'm at now, however, oftentimes open will have the same board as the first private group while the second private group will have a new board. Sometimes both private groups will have the same board as open. In every case, jumping between private groups has yielded a new board at least some of the time though.

Having run Hundreds of Passenger missions here is what I've Observed:

There is some RNG-ness as to which Mission Server you get when logging into a Session.
I have Four Total: Solo, Two Private and Open.

During Prime Busy Times I almost Always get a Fresh Board at dropping in to Each Session:
My Pattern of best Success: Open to Solo to Private1 to Open to Solo to Private2 back to Open...

I have also noted:
Often, backing out of the Passenger Lounge and going back in will show New Missions Replacing Missions I've Accepted.

During Ebb Times either late in US or Late in Britain, I stand a better chance of getting the Same Board between Two Sessions, but not All Four...

I'll add more as they come back to me...

I just got offered a mission to transport 3 passengers from Station A->B the travel time is some 30 minutes...

They were offering 12k credits... A sidewinder in a res site gives more than that !

I'm now 1 minute out from station with 38m on board :D

Yeah, some rewards just make no sense. Also I never got a good reward from these space cold callers.

I mean, surely its not hard to see player total assets and limit lower offered payout accordingly? Its just unnecessary noise.

Btw these "alternative destination" need some look over too. I once took 3 mil reasonable delivery mission - in flight they say "What about changing to system XYZ, we will pay you extra 150k!". I almost clicked accept, the though, hmm, maybe I should see where system XYZ is - and what do you guess, its in Colonia. They were lucky I didn't eject their lousy cargo on the spot, bloody scammers!

At the Risk of having my Current Profession NERFED to Oblivion (I'm Squinting at Y'all FDev)...

I'm Trade Elite, Fully Allied at my Passenger Pick Up/Departure Station...
I typically get Two Full Econo-Conda Runs per Hour at 18 to 22 Million Credits per Run...
So I average about 40 Million Credits per Hour...

My RPG Captain's name is Captain Stubing...

Thats a nice little earner :) Milk it !! :D

Despite working for a time to get myself into an Orca, then the Dolphin, and finally the Beluga, I've sold them all because bulk passenger missions--missions that would make having the Orca and Beluga worthwhile--are so few and far between and pay crap when you do find them. So I've picked up a Python and I've been playing generic space cowboy, finding work as the boards allow while dabbling in some exploration.

All I wanted was to be a kick-a luxury liner operator. And despite giving me the ships to do so, Frontier couldn't be bothered to make the mission/payout system work.

And finally after all these years, FDev achieved the pinnacle of non-boring gameplay design - now their best moneymaking activity is just mostly AFK supercruise, superb. /s

Pretty much :( ... Honestly they need a cred dump. Once you have ships all you need is insurance and your done.

not bad. i think around 60 mil/ hour including pick up of passenger time is around the max with an econ conda atm.

heh. too true. the 120 million cred 45 min SC haul.

but realistically u only need to earn this much in bursts. generally if you work the bgs you can make a respectable 8-10 mil/ hour with a game objective and doing diff activities

Nah, you need to use this to earn as much as you can while you still can, because it *will* go eventually.
Happenings over the years led me to beleieve someone in FDev have strong obsession with idea of "maximum income/time that should be allowed", and keeps trying various game design ideas to limit player earnings to that (rather low) number.
Unfortunately for him (her, them?) players keep finding creative ways to break that limit because they don't quite agree to proposed piddly rates. So they try something else, players find ways around that too. And show goes on.
