Agreed on your assumptions. Would be nice to figure out the thickness of the walls at both ends, but that is a job in and of itself.

Such minor changes won't have that much of an impact. I suspect it will work out to 2.0 Gigatons +/- .1

I'll see about redoing the calcs this weekend.

We should be able to determine the Panther Clipper size by taking mail slot dims and reducing it by 5%. [where is it]

The Panther LX will be sized not by the Access Corridor, but the capacity of a large pad (128m x 213m)

The Beluga is actually WIDER than the large pad, but folds its tail on landing so it will fit down the hole!

So the limit would be pad size less 1.8% 209m x 126m x 40m (height limited by narrower corridor section) or 49m high if it is only taking the middle section AND the large hangar is that high.

nice work Arithon. Didn't realise the Beluga folded it's tail. Now if only it would foid the damn wings when entering/exiting the slot too.
