Incredible, can you (or I) put this in the Post your weird planets! thread? And it probably needs to go in the [Llst] Horizons' Wonders thread as it is a good candidate to set a few records, or at the very least some real wonders. I was there with Erimus last night and the very first mountain we found was 11km top to bottom (remember, Everest is only 8.5km above sea level. Base to peak it is under 5km, and even Mt. McKinley is under 6km base to peak. Olympus Mons on Mars (old Mars I guess), which is the second highest in the Solar System, is 22km, so that still needs to be beat).

It also has some huge trenches, and I guess they need to be measured (I only measured a small one while I was there - 3km - turned out to be a great base jump :) )

Can anyone confirm if this gem has been nerfed to hell since the 2.2 patch? A lot of magnificent feature full planets have been smoothed out and redone since then. Would be such a shame if this got the same approach.

You will have to go to SYNUEFE NI-R C21-2 8 B and check it out.

However, I seriously doubt FD have been nerfing planet surfaces to make them smoother. More likely your graphics settings have been changed at some point...have you checked?

Well, Pomeche 2 c has been nerfed pretty hard. And since it looked quite similar to the body in the OP, it would be reasonable to assume that's been nerfed too.

So i found out this place is in the back-yard of the alien ruins recently discovered. Since it was a couple of jumps out, i decided to confirm this planetoid. Its still pretty amazing, but either i suck at screenshots or they have nerfed it quite a bit.

Doesn't look quite as bad as what happened to Pomeche 2 c, but still seems to be a downgrade. Thanks for checking it out and posting the screenshots!

I know this is an old thread but anyone been out there since 2.4 released? I assume these are nerfed like the rest of the cool planetary features, anyone know before I fly out there to be disappointed?
