Beta progress to be continued in final release?

Definitely not. The wipes are expected during Beta testing. If we are lucky and all major bugs and exploits are fixed during Beta the final reset should happen with the release of Gamma and there should not be any resets since then as a gratitude to all the testers.

Why is that?

Right now it is too easy to make money. And it looks like the devs have listened to the requests of some players and made money earning very easy. This should be much harder in the final game, hence the wipe is required.

There's no guarantee we won't see a wipe in Gamma as well. FD says they don't have one planned at this time but that it remains a possibility.

I at least expect to start with more than just a sidewinder and 1k as i have backed the game since beta. But oh well. Im glad with the game's ongoing development and added improvements.

Everyone who has missed the KS campaign will start with a basic Sidewinder and minimal amount of Cr as far as I know.

A quick look at the forums would indicate ₢1,000 may be out by a factor of ten too!

Take a ship and 100 credits to make money legally or illegally - trade, bounty-hunt, pirate, assassinate your way across the galaxy.

Who knows. Everything might change. 100Cr was mentioned during KS only and now with the development this could easily change to 1000Cr. That's why I am saying minimal amount of Cr.

Possibly, or possibly not. The original gave you a Cobra and ₢100.

I do not believe. In FE2 we start with 100 cr. 1000 cr will be reserved for backers of the kickstarter
