FD seems to be fixated with pew-pew.
After more than 1,000 in-game hours, I fail to see any development in real terms to what we have now.
OK, FDev are fixing (not 'improving' as Ed said) the rendering catastrophe that wrecked the once wonderful planet textures but honestly, everything else in Beyond seems to be focused on pew-pew, pirating or other combat-related activities; all mixed in with an unhealthy level of new grind...but grind nevertheless.
Why not have dynamically generated missions based on your own history, or the ability to run exploration escort missions, or anything that is different to what we have now?
It seems that the formula is, "Add old features with new clothing, but nothing that is fundamentally different from before; the ED engine simply cannot change from what it is. It is incapable of doing so."
Same old, same old. So sad for what could be such a wonderful space experience.
Disagree if you will.
