I did a search, which is how I know it's from 2016. what I'm asking you is how a player - especially a new player, or any player really - would know to look specifically for this station in galnet, scroll all the way back to 2016 hoping to randomly stumble across some text for the community goal they'd know nothing about and a snippet of text that says "it sells everything" as their solution to not knowing who sells what? your suggestions are for places which are permit locked / need elite, a two year old community goal, or now also include "just bookmark my post, it's all you need" - aka, yet another source of information external to the game that people not on the forums wouldn't even see.
I have no idea what or who black company is but people raising genuine concerns about basic "why is this not in game" functionality shouldn't be dismissed as whinges about nothing, or told to "do some research". I want someone, anyone, who thinks this isn't a problem to simply tell me how having to remove a VR helmet and fire up chrome on a regular basis to perform what should be otherwise basic in game tasks, isn't intrusive or a pain in the backside.
for the people who object to this information not being available while playing, telling them "well you could just google x or y" is missing the entire reason they have an issue with it - they don't want to keep tabbing out in the first place. again: for vive, unless you get lucky with V or pay for ovrdrop, staying in game isn't an option for the most part. when this game is absolutely incredibly immersive on a level I've rarely seen in other VR titles, it's a huge shame. I readily paid for ovrdrop so I can stay in my headset; but I don't feel it's a solution to the problem by any means.
