1 billion credits

Recently got to that benchmark myself. Yea, we're paupers compared to some of these kids here, but that doesn't seem to affect my playing of the game one bit.

Enjoy yourself. I do. :)

OP, you're doing just fine. I have 1700 hours playtime and about 750 mil in assets. Got only 90 mil from passengers before the nerf, missed other large money making scams.. sort of..
Congrats

Lots of ships, not so many credits... Enough to rebuy whatever I choose to fly and as much expensive cargo as can be stuffed into its holds three or four times over is enough credits. In fact, whenever I get more than that I start looking for something shiny to spend the extra on :)

Congrats! :D

Hitting that milestone tends to change the focus of the game for most players for the better. No longer concerned with making CR, you can take on missions just because they are fun, or you just enjoy them for some other reason.

Funny thing is... The money making doesn't stop, but tends to seem faster since you no longer care.

At least that is how I felt when I broke through to my first 1 Billion CR. I've got just over 5.5 Billion now, after buying and A rating TWO Type 10s.

I couldn't even tell you how much anything costs anymore because I simply never bother to look. ;)

I'll likely never get that far!

I've never chased the 'money making scheme of the week' mechanics, and basically just bounty hunt for fun and take delivery missions for materials I need now. I have a Orca that I do occasional sightseeing missions with, but that is mostly just to see some of the local sights. I've only found four ships that I want to use/keep and will change loadouts for a specific purpose when I need to, or I just want to experiment with a new weapon.

It took me a calendar year to get this far, so it will probably be another 5 plus years to get where you are. :)

Took me three, so you're not that far off. ;)

But like I said... Once you hit the first Billion, the 2nd and 3rd come much easier. You'll see. ;)

Uh yeah... uh... me too. I have like 42 credits that took me 2 years to get hauling bauxite.

I'm certainly NOT one of those Smeaton exploiters who are ruining the game. No sir.

It's amazing how much more fun and open the game feels when you have a ton of credits. I wish I could give that experience to everyone... this game would grow so much from it!
