the same way the roll thrusters fit into the wings of the orca or dolphin,
and they work the same way as the dolphins non existant lateral thrusters

man, they could have at least put on some thrust-vectoring nozzles like on the T9
but i already saw on the T10, that the future ships wont have such details anymore.
 
Well, it looks more like a slowly stalking cat to me, imo. Pets taking a dump usually have a higher angle of the lower back as seen in the dog pic some posts above.

When I first saw it, it reminded me of a Skyrim dragon walking on the ground. Definitely inspired by some animal.

Yeah because no aeroplane ever had the landing gear retract near the engines. B17 had something similar I believe.
If my Dad (when he was alive) could make model planes that do this I see no problem with it in 3304.
 
It looks to me as if it can stand up at any time and walk around on it's hind-legs. :)
