I'm wondering if the possibility of copyright might be a sticking point.

Be fun to have it in the game though.

I don't know if anyone saw the live "in space" feed after it was put into space but I noticed that on the dashboard, where the radio should have been located, was a lovely plack with bold friendly letters stating "DON'T PANIC".

The ultimate in class.

And yes, Frontier, if you ask him and show him a sample of the game (voyager, for instance), I'll bet a bunch of credits he'll say 'yes'.

I love this. Everything about it is epic, and frankly the funniest thing I've read all year. Who but Elon Musk would think to do this? Brilliant...but I think the thing that made me laugh the most is the PCB in the car printed with a 'Made on Earth by humans' message.

The guy's just a teenage sci-fi geek with a massive wallet. Nothing wrong with that.

On a serious note, Elon didn't really make this, he funded it. If you actually want to congratulate somebody you can try and look up for the engineers and scientists that made this possible and I'd also like to say not everything Elon says or does is right, for example, his idea to use the BFR as a passenger hauler.

Im guessing they would need to get the rights to put a Tesla in the game but maybe elon would approve and let them do it for free? If not i wouldn't mind a fake car brand in the game

ZZ Top had the same idea 30 years ago.

Nothing new under the sun.

O7,
[noob]

Dan O'Bannon did it a few years before that (1981)

Ok, so maybe in reverse, but that's still a '59 Corvette, and it's still pretty sweet.

Didn't you hear? Having more money than small countries makes you a god amongst men, and all the peasants must lick your boots.

Personally, I don't give in to that mentality. Mr Musk, whilst possessing a significant amount of money, is still just flesh and blood.

Until he does something that directly affects me, I will not give him the "tribute" that so many people think (wrongly) he "deserves".

Is my inner-communist showing? I hope it is. :)
